MrsBG :  I am also on crinone in the am, PIO in the pm.  I try to do the crinone around 9am (PIO 9pm), which is at work for me during the week.  It’s not bad, it’s very much like a tampon applicator.  Are you also doing vaginal estrace?  Too Much Information here, but Estrace + Crinone = blue chunky discharge (mostly when you pee, you’ll also wipe some, and feel some and pull out when inserting estrace.)  Not unbearable, I just wear a pantlyliner 24/7.

MrsBG :  Yup, 2x a day.  Once in the morning before work, and once in the evening after I get home and after my shower where I (TMI alert) clean out the extra ‘gunk’ and get to feel clean for all of 10 minute hahaha

pinkshoes :  Thanks. Im 28, but statistically, only 30% of our embryos will be “normal” and unaffected with my lynch gene.

MrsBG :  I know. You’re right. DH says not to worry until there’s something to worry about, lol. He’s very confident that my body will be a satisfactory home and we will only need one. I’m going to drown myself in home renovations.. I’ve been wanting to paint/stencil my closet (DH is not thrilled) and put in a fancy chandelier. I also bought these gorg frames at IKEA (lol) for our living room. Just need to find the right print to stick in them! Anyone have recommendations of something pretty? I’m looking on etsy and need six 12×12 prints.

Hi everyone. I’m back from my trip and still trying to get back into battle mode after the chemical pregnancy. It just felt like such a cruel trick to get my hopes up like that. It does reinforce my decision to do the testing, so hopefully I’ll have enough eggs to do that this time around.

So now I’m waiting until a cd21 progesterone check to confirm ovulation. Then we will start all over again. No birth control this time as my RE thinks that was the issue with my last cycle. I just really need a win soon.

islabride2016 :  welcome back! I hope you had a nice trip. How far from CD21 are you?

This is is a super random question but has anyone considered starting a non profit for IVF? I’ve been toying with the idea, specifically for individuals who need PGS/PGD. I can’t find any that exist. I have a lot of it mapped out, but I’m not big into being a salesman and I think appealing to the genetic labs would be a huge advantage to getting funds. I mean, they donate and then the funds are given to someone who uses their services.. it’s a win-win for them. Plus, application fees alone would probably support a small portion of the funding since this would all be voluntary in terms of a board, etc, until it got large enough. Do I sound crazy?

Excited To Bee :  don’t cry!! 11 is great!  I understand how you’re feeling but truly 11 is so good. Hugs!

I seem to be on a different estrogen/progesterone protocol than most of you! I’m on oral Estrace 2 times a day and I’m doing PIO. I did the suppositories with my fresh transfer but yuck. I’d rather give myself a shot in the butt than leak all the time. Haha. They told me I can stop both estrogen and progesterone once I have my next ultrasound which is at 11 weeks 5 days I believe.

I’m 8+1 today! I had my second ultrasound on Tuesday, baby is measuring bang on and had a strong heartbeat at 176. Everything is looking very good and I officially don’t have any more appointments with the fertility clinic. First midwife appointment is next Thursday!

YogaMama :  That’s awesome!  My clinic said I will take Estrace for 12 weeks and stop the PIO once we see a heartbeat.  I’m not sure when I will stop Crinone, maybe the same time as the PIO.

I stop the Estrace and Crinone at 10 weeks, PIO at 12 weeks

Excited To Bee :  First, great news about your 11 strong little army! I am only CD5 today, so the wait just may kill me. I was so hoping I could jump right back in and focus on needles and side effects rather than just waiting and thinking what could have been.

I did make an appointment with a therapist who specializes in infertility, but couldn’t get in until the 16th. I have my appt. with my RE on the 8th. So things are moving along. I need to catch up on everything I missed, but I hope you’re all doing well…
