niki1983 :  glad you are feeling better with more energy and no more gagging in the am and cramps! When did most of those symptoms start? I felt tired over the weekend and got headaches whenever I got hungry but now I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow and I feel completely normal! Is it normal for symptoms to come and go? Guess it could be different for everyone. Kinda glad the re check us so often in the beginning so I know this is really happening! Good luck on your next scan!!! Good luck on your next scan and blood test!! Almost out of the first trimester! So exciting!!

candy08 :  I saw a heartbeat at 6w4d.  We went at 5w4d and saw a yolk sac only.  I am having my close out appointment with my RE today (12 weeks).  I saw my OB/midwife group at 9 weeks because I had some specific concerns I wanted to discuss with them.  The time you leave your RE is dependant on your RE and your insurance coverage (or lack there of).

niki1983 :  11 weeks already?  crazy!!!  So excited for you.  Did you get offered any of the mat21 tests that can find out gender at 10-12 weeks?  I feel like everyone is getting those these days.

niki1983 :  we did PGD, so we know it is a girl. I wish I had waited a little longer, but I got too excited and open the envelope at six weeks. So silly that I couldn’t wait but oh well. I wanted to wait to see if I had a feeling, because I was right with my son with my feelings.

niki1983 :  the embryo came back genetically normal. There is a 96% accuracy or something with PGD but that’s good enough for us. We will be doing the 12 week ultrasound just to take a peak at her

niki1983 :   MrsBG :  YogaMama : Sigh. I’ve been MIA a bit, my phone wont let me post and so I have to break out my laptop. I went for me 6w5d scan today (not at my clinic, but locally) .. there wasnt a heartbeat. There WAS a fetal pole which wasnt there last week. My nurse said our RE is “guarded” but, that we will see what happens next week, if the local place cant find it theyll have me drive to Tucson for the RE to check one final time. If its not there, I will stop meds. 🙁 I cant believe this is happening. First the bleeding last week, now this.. Excuse my langauge, but I am so fucking sick of all of this. 🙁 It’s also DH’s birthday, so I feel awful thinking he’d get to see his babys heartbeart (it would be his first ultrasound) and now hes feeling really shitty about the whole situation and is worried.

Excited To Bee :  I wrote out a big comment last night on my phone and lost it.  I’m really hoping it is just a bit to early for you and that you’ll have better luck at the next ultrasound.  This must be such a hard wait for you.  I’ll be thinking about you these next few days.

Excited To Bee :  Just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you and hope everything’s ok. You are in my thoughts. Sending positive vibes your way in hopes they find a strong heartbeat next week!

MrsBG :  Same with me…it seems the new updates to the site are causing posting problems.

I am nearing the end of my OCPs prior to Day 1.  Day 1 baseline on Wednesday.  I was supposed to work at 7 AM that day, but thankfully was able to switch shifts with a colleague.  I have no more 7 AM shifts for a while after that, so monitoring should be easily workable.  A little scared about how I’ll deal with retrieval schedule-wise, but since I have DOR and am at high risk for cycle cancellation, I’ll worry about that later.
