1111makeawish :  that is so beautiful.  I love every part of the thought that went in to it.

Final report: 3 fronzen embryos.  A 4AA, 4BB, and a 6BB.  They have been biopsied and we get the results in a few weeks.  We are leaning to implantation after DH finishes his treatment and has a few weeks of recovery.  He is doing so amazing, so we want to take advantage of that.

Because we came into this in a different manner than most, I had to ask all sorts of questions about the grading.  My doctor has been so great with this, and we were put to the front of the line for appointments.

Zebra10: I’m excited to see how your transfer goes!!

Update for me:

Had my first ultrasound after 5 days of stimming. I have 5 follicles ranging from 9 mm – 5 mm. I have low ovarian reserve and my estrogen is at 55. Doctor said this is in line with my situation and will continue the same med levels. Have my next ultrasound on Monday and I hope I get more and they get bigger. Fingers crossed!

nautilusl2 :  Fingers crossed for you!

I had a single transfer this morning of a 4AA blast. Of course I’m all paranoid that none were 5 (hatching) just yet and that that means lower chances even though the RE said no way and still strongly recommended transferring only 1!! The embryologist thinks around 10 will be good enough to freeze. As of right now there’s another 4AA, two 4AB’s, and then 3’s etc

zebra10 :  4AA is great! I’m currently almost 25 weeks pregnant with a 4BB blast. I was nervous none of mine were hatching either but it stuck.  I think most of the time when they are hatching they use hatching assistance, at least that was my understanding but maybe I’m not remembering correctly. I think there is a great chance of yours sticking. Good luck!! I hope the wait goes fast for you!!

candy08 :  thankyou very much! I actually clarified with the embryologist today- he said blasts are rarely hatched by the morning of day 5 and my 4AA was as good as they could possibly ask for. That definitely explains why so few Women get positive tests 8-9 dpo.

zebra10 :  Yes 4AA is fantastic!! If you are going to test before your beta I would wait until 9dpo at the absolute earliest but many women dont get a positive until 10-12dpo. When I was in my wait I was too scared to test early and actually waited for my beta. Any fun plans to help you get through your wait? When do you get your beta?

candy08 :  thank you!! I really appreciate it. DH and I work a ton the next two weeks (I’m so tired!), but then we’re off to vacation for some fishing and R&R.

embryology lab just called with final report- 23 blasts frozen. 5 were 4AA, then the rest various A/B combos

Update for me: not the best results. My Dr made a face when she looked at my follicles. I only have one in the double digits and it’s a 13. The others have stalled. She has me going longer on folistm and menopur and has had me start gallentrix to stop from ovulating. Hopefully that means she thinks this can still work. Have my next ultrasound tomorrow. We’ll see how it looks. Thoughts and prayers, Bees!!

nautilusl2 :  I’m sorry your follicles are being stubborn!  I am cheering for you!  You got this.  Do you think they’d consider switching to IUI if no other follicles develop and you just have one really good one?  Or will they continue with the IVF so that they can make sure it’s fertilized?

nautilusl2 :  very sorry to hear 🙁

i am now 4 days post 5d transfer, 11 days post trigger. I got a faint BFP on FRER but isn’t it likely just trigger? (I had pregnyl 10000)

zebra10 :  It could potentially still be the trigger.  I think 10 ish days is average but sometimes it can stay up to 14 days.  Test at 6DPT and see if the line is darker!  When it is transfer time for me I am going to try to hold out until 5DPT since FRER are supposedly supposed to work 6 days before your missed period.  I will thankfully not have to worry about any trigger leftover because it is a frozen transfer.
