BeeBlake :  Sorry you didn’t see much improvement in your lining. I think cancelling and getting a new protocol is probably the best decision, so I’m glad you have some comfort in that.

I had a hard time with the glue as well (and if I left it on too long I had mild allergic reactions to it) – so I actually bought Uni-Solve Adhesive wipes on amazon, for like $8. They worked wonders. My tip would be to squeeze the excess liquid out before you use the patch otherwise they are kind of oily. Other things I tried was: baby oil, olive oil and alcohol wipes – none of which worked well for me.

BeeBlake :  Totally understandable, no one wants a setback. I was rotating 3 patches EOD for both transfers and the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. I feel your pain, I ran out or space. The wipes were wonderful – it’s essentially what they would use in a doctor’s office.

BeeBlake :  I think you made the right decision.  Will you be starting next cycle when you get a bleed?  Have they said what they will change next time?  I never found anything to remove that adhesive from the patches, it was such a pain.  Certainly makes the vaginal estrace that much better in my opinion.

I am all set for transfer tomorrow.  The clinic just called me a little bit ago and said to be there at 11am for an 11:45 transfer.  I’m excited to see the embies and find out how many they had to thaw to get the 2!!  Oh, and I’m looking forward to the McDonald’s fries afterward (another myth to do after FET and I haven’t had them in forever, so why not!?!)

soontobemrs1011 :  I’ve heard the McD’s fries too! They are a guilty pleasure of mine, so I told my DH we’d have to do it. He is not buying they’re helpful! hahaha It doesnt hurt though 😉

BeeBlake :  I’m so sorry you had to cancel. I think you absolutely made the right decision, you want the best possible chance (as tough as it is). Crossing all my fingers and toes for you!

BeeBlake :  Oh BB, I’m so sorry for the set back. This really is a process and every step and even misstep gets us closer to our goal in some way— at least that’s what my shrink says. I think you sound so strong and wise and that’s only going to help you make it further and then eventually to your goal. Hugs.

My acupuncturist told me olive oil can help get off the patches’ sticky stuff. Or coconut.

My own update- I just found out my one 3 day embryo is at 8 cells. I am super excited because on Wed my doc was concerned it hadn’t divided yet, so I was kind of bracing myself for a total arrest. She was already preparing me for a possible 2-3 month wait for improving egg quality before another ER. If it makes it to Sunday it can get biopsied…. Keep my little E in your good vibes place everyone! 🙏🏻

BeeBlake :  Thank you!  I didn’t do the Valium, it wasn’t offered.

We are back home from the transfer.  DH was able to get off work and go with this time.  I had a super full bladder, they said I get the full bladder award of the day!  Everything went very smoothly.  The 2 we transferred are both grade 2AA (lab uses reverse numerical grading).  And I got my McD fries on the way home.  Now to wait.  Beta is May 1, but I’m sure I’ll be testing before then.
