Wow, you ladies rock.  Seriously. Thank you so much for the input.  Qutie honestly, I didn’t even know what a RE was until coming on these boards and when my doctor mentioned it.  I also didn’t know that OBGYN’s don’t typically do IUIs.  My RE appointment is July 25th, so until then, I’m hoping to get my body into better shape and eating healthier so that I can be in tip-top form for whatever news she gives me (FX for injectables with IUI). πŸ™‚

So after ultrasound#2 I either ovulated already and missed my surge(doubtful) or i’m having an anovulotory cycle :(. He is supposed to call me tomorrow with my blood test results. It feels like iui#1 will never happen.

Sorry bees for not updating sooner. I called my RE yesterday and my 1 fertilized egg stopped growing. The other 5 didn’t do anything either. The nurse told me I need to schedule another appt. w/my RE to discuss the results and if I want to do IVF again. She said they make you wait 1 to 2 cycles before trying again.

I was pretty upset but had to go to work so it helped to keep my mind off of it. One of my coworkers (who is also a pharmacist) told me it rarely works the first time and to try to remain positive. I can’t even explain how deflated I feel now.

@HopefulForLittleOne:  I’ve got my FX for your ER! Also, I didn’t have any side effects w/the injectables either. The trigger shot actually made my belly bloat so I’ve been wearing not so tight shirts b/c it looks like I’m expecting. The shot also made me have to pee all the time (and I have a strong bladder) and my boobs have never been this sore. I’ve had EXTREMELY hard nips 24/7 since the shot too and have resorted to sleeping in a t-shirt.

AFM; DH and I got his SA results yesterday.  His counts and motility are awesome and normal, but his shape/morphology wasnt.  At first I didnt take the news very well, but after doing some reseach online, I found that this can be turned around with life style change/diet and supplements.  DH was pretty upset last night, I dont blame him for feeling like that.  I assured him that we can fight this and we are going to get our LITTLE MIRACLE.  This is just a little something we have to deal with.   The good news is that my doctor said that because his other numbers/results were good, we can still do IUI.  However, the doctor said that he needs to do another SA again in two weeks.  She said that sometimes morphology comes back low or abnormal if the individual has “an off day” and she also explained that most insurance companies need at least two SA tests before treatment is authorized to begin, so we shall see what the next one gives us.  I will keep you guys posted πŸ™‚

@HopefulForLittleOne:  I actually did not get ANY side effects at all…besides the menopur stinging, Everything was smooth sailing, Thank God. I did however feel very bloated after the egg retreival, but everything is back to normal now.

AFM: I got the fertilization report from tthe 18 eggs that were retrieved on Wednesday. 16 of the eggs were mature, and 12 fertilized. so come monday, we’ll decide how many to transfer and how many to freeze.
