@Cheekie0077:  I have done two retrievals. The first was the antagonist protocol 3 years ago. We retrieved  14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized, 8 made it to blasts and 4 were PGS normal.   I just did the microdose lupron flare  with estrogen priming this month. I’m 36, My amh is 1.26 and my afc is 14. We retrieved 4 mature eggs. I was gutted as I was convinced I would end up with nothing in the end, BUT 3 out of the 4 eggs fertilized made it to blasts and all are PGS normal!!  A much higher rate than I had with the antagonist protocol. I havent had my followup up with my RE yet so I don’t know if the protocol made the difference, but in the end, it worked out well for me. My RE told me it’s an aggressive prootocol that works well for most women

i did 2 rounds of IVF to get to my first pregnancy.  first protocol was antagonist, second was long lupron.  i had better results with long lupron.

@Cheekie0077:  that IVF transfer is now 4 years old.  it’s been a while.  i recently checked my IVF prootocols, (i had saved them), as I’m mentoring someone going though IVF now.  i don;t know if there is a different between mirco dose and long lupon, it was a lot more little shots, so it could just be a differnce of name,
