So I have fallen in love with and chosen my dress. It is “diamond white.” However, my colors are navy and gold, with hints of ivory to accent it. Do you think the accents of ivory will clash or be noticable (it will only be in the ceremony alter draping, and at some reception tables as table clothes)? However my sweetheart table will be all navy and gold.

It’s all white – which means they are neutral – which means they won’t clash.

I can’t imagine being at a wedding and thinking to myself “the bride chose a white dress and ivory tablecloths? Quelle horreur!”
Its fine 😊

More than 99% of people would look at ivory and say it was white. Same with cream, offwhite, pearl, diamond white, snow, eggshell, ecru, bone or any other shade that people come up with.
Don’t worry, this is one of those situations where weddings destroy your sense of what’s normal.

Unless you are holding up tablecloths to your dress saying “look at the color difference” I’m not sure anyone will care or notice. As a PP said white/ivory/cream tend to look alike. Get the dress.

Totally agree with PPs especially abwcmo :
To me ivory looks white etc, it’s just a label, I wouldn’t worry, continue to love your dress

If anything the ivory will make your dress look clean and fresh! 😉
