Hi ladies! I’ve already purchased my wedding dress and it is ivory. My original plan was for the boys to wear white button down shirts and khaki pants (on the water). I’m scared this might make my ivory dress look dingy!!

Most ivory looks white and real white is way too bright. It’s hard to say without pictures, but I doubt you need be very concerned. I am doing the same thing, with an ivory dress and white Groomsmen shirts, and it looks fine. 🙂

I had the SAME question!! How funny! My dress is actually very ivory. Not the white-looking ivory. Everyone said definite white shirts. It will make your dress stand out. Plus, khaki and ivory will look icky I think. I’m going white shirts, so if you’re dingy, i’m dingy too! 🙂

My dress is ivory, so Fiance and his groomsmen are going to wear ivory shirts. Not a huge deal.

My dress is technically ivory, but looks white. I had to keep asking when I was trying on dresses- ‘is this ivory or white??’ Anyway, the guys will all be wearing white shirts. I don’t think it matters at all to have the dress and shirts match exactly.

sweet 🙂 when my mom’s friend was telling her it would look “dingy”, I kind of freaked! haha.
@H216scrf: def don’t have a problem sharing my dress 🙂
@PollyPlanner: I kept asking the same thing! I still don’t really understand the difference 🙂
