My dress is ivory and I think my groom is going to wear an ivory shirt so it matches nicely. I just want to make sure the ivory is a similar color. My question is since he’s wearing an ivory shirt, should his Bridesmaid or Best Man and our dads also wear ivory shirts to they look the same in pictures?

Yes. All the men should wear ivory ortheir white shirts will make your ivory dress and his ivory shirt look yellow in comparison.

I was worried about this also- my dress is ivory and I didn’t want our pictures to look “off”. When we looked at shirts, the ivory shirts were almost yellow– I ended up checking with our photographer and she advised to definitely keep his shirt white, so we are.

My dress was very light ivory and the guys wore white shirts. It looked totally fine. The ivory shirts at the tux store were waaaay yellow looking imo.

My dress was “alabaster” which is the Maggie Sottero version of ivory. My Darling Husband wore a white shirt with an ivory vest and the groomsmen wore ivory shirts with champagne vests. I think it went together very nicely.

I brought in an ivory dress that was close to the same color ivory as my dress when we were getting the guys fitted. The colors looked nice together and the ivory wasn’t too dark (Although when I first saw the shirts I thought they were really dark!)
I say put everyone in ivory! That’s what I did anyways.
