Worried my dress will look dirty/yellow against the white draping behind us and the white table linen.. Changing it would cost lots more and we are on a tight budget.
Does anyone have pictures to make me feel better?
(I should add that there will be fairy lights with the draping so that should soften it)

Are your fairy lights warm? It will really blend in if the lights are warm instead of bright white.
Our wedding colors are ivory black & pink – my dress is white.
But we’re having a very candlelit reception so hopefully it shouldn’t matter all that much!

They are, so the backdrop should be okay.. but the linens and chair covers are white so they may stand out a little more..

I had an ivory dress, all the linens were white. You didn’t notice the difference.

Here a old thread with some pics
I think its stupid to be honest. I dont think it will clash at all, in fact I think like a lot of people said in this thread, its a sales trick and the contrast between white and Ivory can actually break up things a little bit. They said that my FH shirt could not be white as it would make my wedding dress look dirty … well what do you know, the ivory is more expensive. FH will get an Ivory shirt but it really isnt that big of a deal to have a white one

@MrsMagillToBe: I found some photos off of Google. I don’t think the brides’ dresses look dingy at all. Besides, you are the bride, not a napkin or some decorative item that must match the linens.

@MrsMagillToBe: My dress was ivory and our backdrop at our ceremony was white and you couldn’t notice a difference. Here are some pictures our guests took to give you an idea. We had lighting behind the draping as well. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures; we get our professional ones back this Saturday. Hope this helps!
