Hey Bees!!! I need some major help. I am ordering my beautiful Ines Di Santo gown (found an online store who buys the authentic designs and sells them for a much cheaper discounted price!) Unfortunately, the gown only comes in light ivory; the sales rep said it’s like diamond white! I am brown-skinned, so I know it wouldn’t be a problem with how the color would look on my skin. But, I am trying not to panic as my wedding is 2 months away and my colors are black and white. Everything is black and white. My bridesmaids dresses are black w/a white sash; the jr. bridesmaids dresses will be white w/black; and the guys will have black tuxes w/white; and my bouquet is all white; and my decor is black and white themed… Do you think my light ivory dress would clash with my very own black and white wedding colors?!?!?! HELP!!!!

It is totally fine! My dress was ivory and my colors were black and white — it didn’t make a different at all!

there are different shades of ivory. Most ivory wedding dresses are similar but if you get ivory shirts from the mens department or ivory linens then yes some are creamier than others

Ivory dress here! BMs wore black and grey and had white bouquets, GMs wore black tuxes with white shirts and grey ties & vests, Groom wore black tux with all white shirt/vest/tie. I think it all looked great, but I’m definitely biased 🙂

DH wore an ivory tie with a white shirt at our wedding and it looked just fine. Don’t worry about clashing, you’re the bride! They’re not even supposed to look at all that other stuff 😉
