Go with whatever color your dress is. If your dress is ivory and you pick white linens, you will clash and your dress will look……off.

I would use white because there is nothing as clean and crisp as white linens.  You gold/silver and lavender and blush will look beautiful against a white backdrop.

I probably would not use the chair covers at all. I think they take over the whole color scheme and you end up with a sea of white. There are very few chairs that are bad enough to require covers. You will note that they are never used outside of weddings, even for the most formal of events.

You also do not need to give a moment’s thought to the color of your dress. Your dress will be whatever color it is, and will not look “off’ if you use white linens.

I did ivory linens and it looked great with my gold centerpieces. The ivory goes way better with the color of the walls.  🙂 I wouldn’t do the chair covers. They are outdated in my opinion. Can you get blush fabric for the table overlay instead of champagne? Might give you more color contrast. That would be pretty!

brigk:  I would stick to ivory to be honest….. My dress was a very light ivory and it worked out perfectly with my all ivory venue.

brigk:  I think if it was real light it wouldn’t be too much. 🙂 I actually used that same sort of fabric but it was peach colored and just used it in the middle with my centerpieces. I cut the fabric in a circle. When I put it on the table I turned the edges under (it sort of created a pillow/cloud like effect). I had a bunch of candles so put those right on the fabric. It looks REALLY cool because it pulled in some color but it was different than doing a mirror or something else under the candles. The pic that my photographer took doesn’t really show it good so it was a bit hard to explain lol. 🙁

Ivory looks like it will go better with the venue. But no one will be matching your dress to the linens, I promise!

I think it depends on the colour of your dress. If it’s ivory than white may make it look dull in comparison. Just my thoughts
