While I have no pictures personally of this dress, there are a lot of them listed n pre-owned dress sites with pics, here’s an Ivory one…

Also a lot of pics on the website with reviews, some are white and Ivory

Did you try on pure white dresses? I looked genuinely unwell in true white, because it washes out paler people. When I went dress shopping the woman at one shop told me of a bride who insisted on white, then cried when it came in because it looks awful.

I’d go and try on both shades of a similar dress if you can, before committing to buy.

You may not even notice much of a difference. When I tried on my dress, I was surprised to find out that it was actually ivory and not white!

Sample (sorry so sausagy) in ivory is on the left, my dress is on the right in white.

I used to work at Davids bridal and I know exactly which dress this is.  Go with ivory, this is a vintage type dress and looks so much better in ivory.  The champage is actually really pretty as well, it is a champagne underlay and a ivory tulle over it.  But if you are set on either white or ivory, 100% go with the ivory one.

I agree with another poster on here, go try on a few ivory gowns to make sure you like the color of ivory.  I went with an ivory dress because I felt the white was too dramatic on my skin and it looked weird.  I have a darker complextion

Trust us when we say, Ivory is not that much different. True white white doesn’t look good on many! I’m sure you’ll look wonderful.

My point was that I wouldn’t have known had I not been told the sample was ivory and the only reason why you can tell in those two photos is because they are side by side.

I agree with PPs – just go back in, try on ivory dresses in a similar style. I’m sure you’ll find that it will look just as lovely.
