Through a series of crazy events, I fell in love with the idea of wearing the J Crew Nadia wedding gown in ivory as my reception dress. It’s flowy, comfy and totally different from my wedding gown.. sigh.
The problem is, I can’t justify paying full price $650 plus shipping. http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/weddingsandparties/forthebride/PRDOVR~02176/02176.jsp?TCode=GGBS00006_99103071986&sisearchengine=197&siproduct=02176&noPopUp=true&utm_source=GooglePLA&utm_medium=02176&gclid=CILs9q-bg7kCFS_ZQgodc1AAsg’ defer=’defer
I’ve searched OnceWed and found a similar dress (Arabelle) in my size for half the price (within the budget!) but I can’t seem to find the Nadia. Any suggestions? I’ll need a size 00, 0, or 2.
Any ideas? 🙂

Did you check ebay? Try the JCA (JCrew Aficianada) blog, too. Those ladies are super helpful!
Loooove the Nadia, btw. Stunning and simple. That and the Arabelle are right up my alley 🙂

@afineskyline: Thank you for the suggestion! Aren’t they both gorgeous?? I may end up with the Arabelle if I can’t find Nadia. Or perhaps I can go with the Nadia in a different color?? Decisions….

@SeptemberBride2013: Teachers and students got 15% off… is there anyone you know that could call for you? You could still put it on your own credit card.

@SeptemberBride2013: Hve you considered just wearing it in champagne? If you look under “silk chiffon” dresses, they have the Nadia dress in a bunch of different colors, one of them being champagne. It is also $300 less than the “bridal” ivory version.
