(Closed) Jam Jar Size for Wedding Favor

We did 4 oz jars and they were a really nice size. Had a mix of flying and driving guests and we still only had a few left behind out of 60. I think it’d be easier to let people figure out their own situations, rather than hoping they figure out smaller jars are for flying guests (that isn’t going to work), or don’t wonder why some people have bigger jars and some smaller.

This is what the 4 oz jar looked like, by the way. I think a smaller one would look pretty dinky, especially if there are larger ones on the table.

For the flying guests, I’d definitely do the 2 oz jars. You can put out a whole bunch so that people can take more if they want. That would be easier to do than to sort out different size jars.

willowbee :  You could also double up the 2 oz jars for flying guests… if you’re worried about the liquids rule. Stack them up and tie them together with some twine or something.
