One of my good friends is getting married in Jamaica this weekend!  Unfortunately, with our wedding in two months we can’t make it down there.  It sounds like it’s going to be a ton of fun.  They are doing the whole thing at the Coyaba Resort, which is also where Mrs. Quiche had hers.  I would go through her old blog entries, they are really amazing!

I wasn’t married in Jamaica, but I plan on honeymooning there.  I’ve read excellent reviews on Couples Resorts…and come across a lot of their wedding reviews.  Maybe check them out?

i did – if you have specific questions, i could answer them. We didn’t do an all inclusive, so we planned each detail like a traditional wedding. If you are going this route, feel free to ask away! i wouldn’t have anything good to add about all inclusive wedding packages.

jamaica bride here! Im getting married at beaches trelawney resort its all inclusive family friendly and affordable. for me my Fiance and our son it was around 2700 dollars which i think is pretty good. you can get the presidential suite which is stunning.
P.S. stay for more than three nights and the wedding is free (plus gov’t fees usually 250) so its a pretty good deal and you get married on the beach though they have other locations we leave on June 4th and get married on june7th WOOT cant wait!!

We are getting married at Sandals Montego Bay on June 30th!  The main thing I realized is that they say the wedding is “free” but then all of the extras are pretty expensive (ie. flowers, music, reception, spa)  so I am bringing my own flowers and getting my nails done before I get there to save some cash.

I’m getting married at Grand Palladium in Montego Bay. Its an all-inclusive resort and beautiful. We are on vacation there last May and saw a bonfire dinner on the beach. We both knew that was they wedding for us. We worked with a travel agent to block rooms with a special rate for our guests.

The resort has a wedding coordinator on site and arranges everything. You can request more then the packages offer (which we are doing) which costs extra. Its so easy because they offer one photographer, one florist, couple band choices and that’s it. Its really for a simple, stress free wedding, which is exactly what we want.

We’re getting married at Secrets Wild Orchid.

I’m not really working with any vendors over there. I’m just going with what the resorts offers EXCEPT for photography. My photographer is based in Virginia Beach.

The best thing to do first is to decide where in Jamaica you want to get married and go from there.
