Do you want all cajun themed things?

I don’t think there is EVER such a thing as too much chocolate or candy 🙂

If you want to stick to the cajun/New Orleans type of food, there is so much to choose from.  Gumbo, corn bread, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, blackened catfish, crawfish… You could totally go wild with choices.

You could serve hurricanes for drinks too, and other Louisianan (sp?) style drinks.

Yumm, I’m hungry now!

And I agree with the never too much candy and chocolate comment 🙂

Oh man, you made me hungry too!!

I definitely agree that cornbread, fried okra, etc. would go great with jambalaya! What a fun idea – I love cajun food!

Crawfish etouffee?  I like all of DarlingNikii’s suggestions too though.

If you do indeed go the cajun route, don’t forget andouille, and red beans and rice.

How about including corn bread, “armadillo eggs” (picked jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese & coated with sausage), stuffed mushrooms . . . .

I would include the hush puppies and some tasty fried green tomatoes. The candy and chocolate combination sounds great!

Just lots of loaves of crusty bread & butter!
