Another vote for JA. They were a dream to work with (multiple instant chats, emails, and even sending the ring back to upgrade diamond). We went to 4 or 5 B&M stores, but no one had pears, and there was minimal rose gold. Definitely no pears AND rose gold together. The 360 view doesn’t even do the “recently purchased” rings section justice. I say go for it!

peegee:  Your rings are all beautful! But I’ll be honest, prior to joining this website, I’d never heard of James Allen. I guess I am not trendy enough! 🙂  Congrats on your rocks!

also James Allen. 1.5ct, D, VVS2 on a size 4/75/5. love my ring, and had a very easy time working with them.

Working with JA was a tremendous hassle. They are horrible at communicating. Very inconsistent service, a lot of back and forth, staff not being on the same page. Needed to send it back twice for repairs. However, now that everything is finished, I am happy with the final project (resetting a ring) and I think their prices are better than others I have seen. Still, I didn’t vote because I am not sure if the hassle was worth it.

We did James Allen, great to work with. My husband even has a friend who does jewelry, been repairing and making for like the last 15 yrs…we took my platinum setting in to be polished, he looked it over in Ahhh, said it was a beautiful ring and very high quality. He had asked my husband where we got it.

jenner229:  Is yours the thin french pave? And if so, is that the matching band with it? I wasn’t sure if the matching band sits flush or not. My SO ordred the thin french pave for my e-ring, and I’m worried the prongs will be in the way of the band sitting completely flush.
