luvely:  One thing that finnrose learned is that she had to specify that she wanted claw prongs for the James Allen ring. Despite it being shown apparently claw prongs have to be requested or something along those lines

Both are lovely… just wanted to say that I have a Danhov ring (different setting) but super thin platinum and they are sturdy…. I bang mine up all the time….their stuff is amazingly durable.

It really is beautiful. I do love it, but even after requesting the clawed prongs I did not receive them. It was a big disappointment for me. I do plan on keeping it becasue I like it regardless.

I also just noticed they raised the price on it $10. Maybe they did so to be able to provide the extra work for the claw prongs? Just FYI, my finger is a size 8.25 and the stone is 2.5cts and it’s set in white gold. I plan to take more photos soon. I hope this helps. πŸ™‚

finnrose:  the prongs are so delicate and gorgeous, the other rings shown in the customer photos were way thicker. I’m glad your keeping it because I think it’s amazing!

luvely:  It’s from their eleganza line. The wedding band was custom.

ETA: ordered through our local jeweler and made with an heirloom stone; only saw the design on the website but they are more available nationwide now.
