@Emmanem:  I know this is a couple years old, I’m wondering what setting this is? I’m currently shopping James Allen and I love it!

LavenderBride24:  Do you mind if I ask your ring size and carat size? Your ring is gorgeous!

LavenderBride24:  thanks for your reply! can you tell me how comfortable it is with the sharper lines/edges? I love the idea of the surprise diamond but I was not sure how I would like the squareness of the band edges. Have you had any luck findind a band to go with it? I am going for the princess cut solitaire with a diamond 1/2 eternity band.

It’s a very comfortable band!   It’s very smooth, I don’t feel any lines or edges.  I can see how it might look otherwise, very comfy though ๐Ÿ™‚

I also have a 3/4 or so diamond band with it, they look great together, small gap (I wasn’t a fan do the matching curved bands since the setting is low)

here they are with my radiant cut diamond. Hope it helps!  Both rings are from JA.

I fell in love with this James Allen setting, but it’s pre-set which means there is already a G-H, SI1 diamond in the center. Should i trust a pre-set ring from JA? Their customer service is amazing and I’ve been chatting with them, but I’d like some advice from the bees!

maryrose1:  Did you end up getting  this ring? I have been looking  at similar  ring on JA but love the one you posted above  much better. But just as you wrote, i would much rather have it set in a diamond  of my choice.

I’ve been waiting forever to post on here! It’s been almost a year but I absolutely LOVE my James Allen ring! I was not picky, I wanted a simple setting.

jeepgirl44:  What are your ring’s specs and ring size? I’m trying to decide what will size of diamond look right on my hand and that’s the exact setting I’m looking for. Yours looks perfectly sized on your hand!
