Yay, I was so excited for this thread. I’ve been lurking for quite a while now (due to crazy baby fever) and now we’re finally officially TTC (which is super exciting and completely surreal)!!! So this is my very first ROLL CALL:

Your age/partner’s age: 29/28

Baby#: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 7

Ovulation Date: Based on ovulation tests in the past few months I tend to ovulate relatively early (last month it was CD 12), so I suppose it will be around 12/16 or 12/17.

POAS Date: 01/02 ?! (My fertility app tells me I should test on 01/04, but I guess as I tend to ovulate two days early, I might be able to test two days earlier, too?! I migh update my POAS date once I got a positive OPK…)

Usual Cycle Length: between 27 and 30 days

Cycles trying: first!

BFP Plan: For now just prenatals and OPKs (which I have been doing for a few months now). Temping seems quite stressful, so I’ll try and make do without it for now. If it doesn’t work within the first few months, I might reconsider, though.

Trying anything new this month? Well, since this our first cycle, the entire not preventing thing is rather new. 😉

Good luck to you, ladies!!!

Your age/partner’s age: 27/26

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD7

Ovulation Date: 12/20

POAS Date: 1/1 (this will only be at 12DPO, and I should really probably wait til 14DPO instead, but who am I kidding? I’ve never been able to wait that long to test, and this would be a wonderful way to start the new year!)

Usual Cycle Length: 32-33 days

Cycles Trying: #7

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): BD every day during FW, prenatals, Preseed, EPO, may or may not try Mucinex again (that stuff tastes horrible!)

Trying anything new this month? I ordered an Ava fertility bracelet back in September, and I finally got an email saying that it’ll be shipping by 12/19! It’ll be too late to really get much data from it for this cycle, but at least I’ll be able to use it for next cycle! Also, I’m going for an HSG on 12/16. It’s right smack dab in the middle of my FW and we can’t have any unprotected sex until then, buttttt I’ve heard it increases your chances by clearing out all the “gunk” that gets build up so *fingers crossed*

Good luck everyone!

POAS Date:  tbc

Usual Cycle Length: 24-26

Cycles Trying:  4th after a break when we realised due to timing we should start next year.

Hello everyone! I’m doing gender-selection IVF and we have a 15mo girl and would like a boy. Currently waiting for the results on the frozen embryos and am expecting the egg transfer to be at the end of January.

Your age/partner’s age: 29/30

Baby#: 2

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 26

Ovulation Date: Not applicable to IVF but it’s usually approx CD17

POAS Date: Probably right at the end of Jan, so let’s go with Jan 31st!

Usual Cycle Length: 31 days

Cycles trying: Will be my first!

BFP Plan: Eating well, no soy, less caffeine, prenatals, magnesium supplements to hopefully avoid horrific morning sickness this time, walking a lot.

Trying anything new this month? N/A

If this isn’t our cycle, I’ve made an appointment with my OB-GYN to hopefully get the ball rolling on some early testing.  We aren’t at a year of TTC yet, but I don’t see why we can’t at least rule out the more obvious issues sooner than later.

Your age/partner’s age: 32/35

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD2

Ovulation Date:  Usually CD14, so Christmas Eve

POAS Date: Jan 5 (my mum’s birthday!)

Usual Cycle Length: 27/28 days

Cycles Trying: This will be cycle 7!

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): BD timing, prenatals, OPKs, temping.

Trying anything new this month?  Considering trying SMEP – not sure I want to be that precise about BD timing though (even deciding between ED vs EOD has felt a little clinical)

Hi! We’re officially TTC this month 🙂  Have a history of PCOS so only cautiously excited

Your age/partner’s age: 27/31

Baby #: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD3

Ovulation Date: 24 Dec

POAS Date: 8 January

Usual Cycle Length: 30 days

Cycles Trying: This is the first!

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Eating well, taking supplements, timing BD. As have PCOS I avoid all sugar, gluten, dairy to keep my hormones level. Going to try and hold off on temping and even OPKs because I am very easily stressed!

Trying anything new this month? Just trying to stay cool 🙂

Your age/partner’s age:  25/25

Baby #: 2, lost our first at 21w6days at the end of September

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 3

Ovulation Date: December 25th-26th

POAS Date:  I had a 32 day cycle last time so I’ll assume the same this time so January 11th.

Usual Cycle Length:  Was 32 days last time… still not sure after my loss!

Cycles Trying: 2

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Prenatals, BD timing and OPK’s this month

Trying anything new this month? OPK’s! Used them with our first and got pregnant right away. I’m going to try and be more relaxed about it this time though as DH doesn’t want to know when I’m ovulating as the pressure freaks him out.

Your age/partner’s age: 33/33

Baby #: 2

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 8

Ovulation Date: Dec 19

POAS Date: Jan 3

Usual Cycle Length: 28 days

Cycles Trying: this will be cycle 4

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Prenatals when I remember, BD as often as a toddler lets us during FW.

Trying anything new this month? We’re kind of trying to take it easy this month.  A BFP this month would likely mean both our babies would be Sept babies (which would be totally fine), but I also just feel like I need to be more relaxed about the whole TTC thing.

I had a CP in November, and was so sure I was pregnant this past month, so I think I need to just relax and see what happens.  I’m putting my POAS as the day after my expected period, but have a history of testing way to early.  I’m going to do my best to hold out till Jan 3 though.

livster :  thank you so much! I have a good feeling about this month! My due date would be 11 days before I delivered so I’m hopeful we have a positive to cancel out the negative I feel about September!

Cassidylouise :  just to say sorry for your loss. I have had 2 CPs but I don’t think that can remotely feel anything like you. I hope you get your BFP and THB.

This is my first time signing up for a Roll Call!  I’m not sure if I belong in the Dec or Jan group – my cycle length is so wonky, it’s hard to say how long it might be this time.

Your age/partner’s age: 37/36

Baby#: 1

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 13

Ovulation Date: Anybody’s guess…could be anwhere from Dec 15 to Dec 27. I’m just hoping for a positive OPK this cycle!

POAS Date: It’s really going to depend on if I can get a positive OPK.  Probably weekly from Dec 28th until AF shows up 🙂

Usual Cycle Length: 38 days average

Cycles trying: I think this is # 7

BFP Plan: Eating well, less caffeine, prenatals, OPKs

Trying anything new this month?  I’m committed to using the OPKs consistently this month.
