I’ve made a list of “to-dos” for every month until the wedding and for the most part I’m sticking to it…

Right now we’re almost ready to print invitations, we have our tasting at the venue early next month, and we are switching our DJs so we have to meet up with a few to interview.

My main goal is to keep losing weight each month and to also tone up those arms for my strapless dress! ๐Ÿ™‚

Major To-Dos:

Nail down decor & rentals (!!!!). Design sationary (send invites November 7th!), pick baker and cake, lock in rehearsal dinner restaurant, reserve transportation, reserve Mr.’s tux and get the boys their info. Finish up the DIYs, figure out gifts, finalize menu….. those are the main things.

We’re sending out our first batch of invitations (about a third of the total, this to a group of friends that didn’t get Save-The-Date Cards and need to know the info sooner rather than later) today!  YAY!  Now we just have to finish the other 100…

@GreenEyedMoon: I swear once I send out all the invitations I’m going to breathe the HUGEST sigh of relief. By far the most exhausting wedding job..

@Evie19:  I know!  I’ll be so relieved.

In other news, apparently some of the ones we sent on Tuesday had already arrived by yesterday afternoon!  They must have made it there in less than 24 hours!  I got two messages yesterday saying how beautiful they are.  ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

In other news, people started RSVPing to my bridal shower yesterday, too!  I was hanging out with my Maid/Matron of Honor when she got the first call.  Yay!

Also, I happened to look at our registry yesterday, and I discovered that someone has already bought us our first gift!  We’re going to get our silverware!  Yay!!!!!

THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING, LADIES!  WE’RE GETTING SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!

*happy dance*

wowza – We’ve just put in a 12-hour day doing invitations and still have two inserts left to print.  Who knew the printer would be the bottleneck in this process?

Sigh – a shoutout to all you brides doing invitations yourselves – it’s a labor of love!!!

@kanadia82:  Wow, the printer is really your problem?  How old is it?

@GreenEyedMoon:

yeah – it’s sucking big time at the moment.  I’m actually drawing a blank as to how old this printer is. Fiance just informed that I’ve been in a relationship with it longer than him, so it’s at least 4 years old!!! ha ha.

We’re plowing through  – only a few more direction cards and all of the accomodation cards left to print.

OMG OMG OMG, I just finished addressing my last US invitation!  I still have to write nine Japanese addresses, but I need to get a non-calligraphy pen for that.  I don’t want to confuse their postal workers.  BUT I’M DONE!!!!!!!!
