Have you been to Vegas?  You should be able to do that within your price range.

Aside from that, I would look for deals in the Caribbean (try cheapcaribbean.com)  Flights will be cheap and quick from Florida and there are lots of choices.

What about Puerto Rico?  You can get really cheap deals to all-inclusive resorts in PR, plus the airfare from Florida would be super cheap.  Also, even though Puerto Rico is technically in the US, it feels like a different country.  It has a totally different atmosphere and culture than the rest of the US.

Umm, here is a link to the place my husband and I stayed like 2 years ago.  I thought it was beautiful and very nice, but I don’t think it’s an all-inclusive (we were there with my company, so everything was paid for anyway).  I’m sure other bees would have more specific recommendations for all-inclusives in PR, if you are interested.

You might want to check out cheapcaribbean.com I signed up for their email promotions. THey sell packages for Caribbean all-inclusives and have great deals going right now. They had a $49/night sale recently. You can hardly stay home for that price!

I second cheapcaribbean, that’s how we booked our honeymoon, i’ve heard nothing but good things from them.

As for skiing, if you can get a package, maybe something including a lesson, you might be able to do it for that, it can be a little expensive though so maybe not the best way to go.

Tubing is really fun so maybe a lodge, by a ski area that has tubing you could go and do, or snowshoeing, and stuff like that. I’m such a winter person and I love to be busy outside around that time!

Sorry one more thing, a lot of ski deals are on right now if you book by the end of October, so you could find a really good deal if your able to make a decision that quickly

If you’re still set on Spain, I’ve seen really cheap deals recently on Travelzoo (www.travelzoo.com) for the Costa del Sol. Crazy stuff like $599 per person for airfare from NYC and five nights hotel. It almost makes me wish we hadn’t already booked our honeymoon! I’m not sure what part of Spain you were looking for though.
