@ames12708:  I’m not sure on average time to flip but I think past 36 weeks is when they will try ECV to flip a breech baby, so I’m going to guess at 36 weeks the odds of a baby changing position on its own go down.

At my last appointment at 30 weeks my baby was transverse, the midwife wasn’t very concerned.  My next appointment was scheduled with the OB though so she can check position, I’ll be 34 weeks then.

@SaraP2012:  The midwife guessed the position of the baby using the doppler.  She couldn’t find the heartbeat low and I told her where I felt kicks, up and to the left of my belly button and then she picked it up there, so it has to be somewhat close to where the baby is.  She guessed that since the heartbeat was so high and to the side that the baby was transverse at the time.

@As_You_Wish:  I’ve been having cramping almost everyday for a few minutes, it was to the point where I was timing it two of those times.  It went away when I drank a couple huge glasses of water, changed position, or took a bath.

@redhead46:  That makes sense =] thanks…there are NO OBs in my area or even in my distant area who will even attempt to deliever a breech naturally so I hope she stays nice and turned lol!

SOOO for anyone who was wondering about the baby products discussed abit earlier in the thread some of my items arrived yesterday and I thought I’d share my thoughts of course nothing has been used yet but anyway.

The leggings…ARE PRECIOUS and the material in my opinion is nice they feel quite thick to me and a nice and stretchy. I think they will have a good use life…they seem that they are high quality for wear and tear of things like crawling and the stretchiness makes me think they will fit early and long. So although I haven’t seen them in action I’m tickled with the leggings!

Feeding pillow, I went ahead and purchased this item bc well for $12 I figured it could be used for something…Darling Husband wants to use it for napping LOL…he’s a little well not used to baby things ect…and he actually thought it was for mom to use to take a nap while feeding baby ROFLOL <3 him. Anyway I like the pillow!! It is smaller than a boppy but it is fluffy some of the reviews I read online made it seem like it was almost flat, but mine is think and very soft/cozy feeling, now again I haven’t used it yet and it might go flat in 2 uses lol. I will post pictures of it with a ruler for perspective later.(It’s upstairs in the nursery and I’m being lazy lol) Now I will say this I ordered the pattern clementine which on my computer looked to be a sunny yellow color…I would call it chartreuse personally (the color between green and yellow) it’s very neonish lol but I do like it..it’s just not the sunny yellow I expected it to be..but hey if after some use that turns out to be my only complaint then that’s pretty awesome!!

I also orded the nursing cover but it hasn’t arrived yet and I think people are more familiar with their quality anyway.

I had my baby shower yesterday and now that it’s over, I’m kind of in panic mode because we still need to buy a lot of baby things, especially clothes! Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for what we got… Surprisingly though, we didn’t get a lot of clothes and of the clothes we got, a lot of them are seasonaly inappropriate (eg: I got a few 6 month size heavy fleece outfits and my baby will be 6 months at the end of July). No one included gift receipts so I guess I will pack some of it up and put it in storage. Hopefully I’ll be able to use it for a future baby or regift it to someone whose baby will be 6 months in the winter. Tongue Out

I am *so* glad I have been watching for deals and that we’ve already bought most of the big stuff on our own despite people telling us to wait until after the shower.

@lroetheli:  I was considering getting that one. Now I think I’m going to stick with a video monitor! ๐Ÿ™‚

@As_You_Wish:  we still had a lot of the smaller essentials to buy after our showers as well, but with all of the duplicates we got, I’ve only had to spend $125 out of pocket so far.  If I could have gotten everything at one store, I probably would have had enough credit to cover it in full, but Target didn’t have everything we need.  do you at least know where the outfits came from so you can do an exchange for a different size?  it’s nice you weren’t overwhelmed with all things newborn, but it also doesn’t help when your baby will likely never wear something because it’s the wrong season!

This little girl has so much clothes.  Between the showers and the fact that I don’t know how to say no, I still worry we won’t have enough. It seemed like I was buying something every time I went to the store for awhile, but I’m finally realizing how much we have so I’m trying to stop now.

I’m glad you were able to make a decision on the monitor!!

@lroetheli:  Fortunately I was able to return a couple things yesterday but some of the clothes were purchased in the states and I’m in Canada.

@ScottishMrs:  I’m glad to hear that baby is doing well!

Today I am 32 weeks and after I got out of the shower this morning my boobs started leaking. Let’s just say I totally wasn’t expecting that!!! Is anybody else dealing with this yet? I really need to go bra shopping because I feel like my current bra is about to pop! lol

Should I be concerned that I’m not leaking AND my boobs haven’t grown (in fact I believe I’m down a cup size due to the weight loss). I don’t mind going from an F to an E, but starting to think I’m a freak. LOL!

@ScottishMrs:  I went to Walmart and bought a couple super cheap ($7.00 each) sports bras. I’m hoping these will do me until I make the switch to nursing bras.

@Lyndzo:  Nope, I don’t think you need to be concerned…everyone’s body reacts differently to pregnancy. And think of the money you’ll save from not having to buy a bunch of different bra sizes! ๐Ÿ™‚

@As_You_Wish:  Good point! I suspect they may grow back again when I breastfeed but hopefully not past an F.

@Lyndzo:  That is really sweet of you to say. ๐Ÿ™‚ Sometimes it is hard to feel beautiful when you are pregnant so I am glad I got some good pics to look at when I am feeling down about myself. I will say that my husband looks pretty good himself haha
