    So how uncomfortable is everyone?

I shouldn’t complain, I’ve had a great pregnancy. But after 32w it was like a switch was flipped. I went from feeling fantastic to being easily tired and super duper sore. My back aches all the time and so do my hips. Walking is a nightmare, I go grocery shopping and I’m almost in tears by the time I get home I hurt so bad.

Waking up to pee every 2 hours is getting on my nerves. I think maybe it’s mother nature’s way of preparing for feedings every 2-3 hours!

As much as I want her to stay in until January, the other side of me wants her out now!

    hey everyone,

So I fell off the face of the earth for a while lol =] glad to see everyone is doing well. I had my shower on Nov 16th, it went quite well. Unfortunately we only got 2 items off our registry and everything else was clothing. So we still have about $400+ to spend on things that we feel we absolutely need now. We already decided to postpone/do without many items to cut costs. My Dh’s family is doing a christmas party/mini shower this saturday but nothing has come off the registries so I am guess it will be primarily clothing again. Not to complain I love the clothes…but we really need some actual baby items.Owell we will simply buy them ourselves, the sad thing is even with all these clothes coming in I still don’t feel she truly has enough clothing. =/. On a happy note our nursery is finished even the monitor (we just got a wifi camera instead of one of the outrageous monitors) We can pull it up on our phones easily plus it has password protection and it has two way sound color video and night vision I am EXTREMELY pleased with it! And it only cost $50 yay!

I realized I never posted pictures of the nursing pillow with a ruler for sizing…and I still haven’t even taken those pictures! Pityful!

So I still haven’t had any leaking either and boobs have grown but I haven’t had to go up a bra size…just in the past few weeks I’m feeling a bigger bra would be much more pleasant but it’s not required yet lol.

the bee doesn’t like my trying to go back and forth and replying to everyone sooo I’m just going from memory and linking any usernames sorry =[

    sarap LOVE those pics!!!

lyndzo what a cute little face! I want another US so bad…i might get one but who knows.

My mom is convinced this baby is coming in December, because of how I am carrying (way low for weeks now) but I really dont think thats a good indicator lol. I think she is just getting impatient I try to remind her we don’t want a premie baby but she’s always been sure I was farther along than I was IDK why.

Let’s see I’m freaking out a bit because at my last appointment last thursday my bump was measuring at 37 weeks!!! AH! That’s 4 weeks ahead…I’m afraid she’s getting giant in there, I passed my glucose test when I had it. I’m only up 5 total lbs the whole pregnancy. Midwife didn’t seem extremely concerned but she did say she did not want me going past my due date at all. I have also noticed a gradual decrease in movement I guess I shouldn’t be too worried but it does worry me. It’s been over the course of several weeks which I guess she has taken a big growth spurt lately. I quit doing my kick counts bc everytime in the past I would get 10 kicks in under 5 minutes almost everytime so I was like well I think we’re good. Now it’s more like 10 kicks in 30-40 minutes should I be concerned? Midwife wasn’t but I still feel worried about it. She was just so outrageously active for quite a while anytime I was still she was going nutty in there but now it’s I guess less predictable? IDK they are very strong movements though.

Uhm on a happy note I think we finally named this little lady…we have decided not to tell anyone because we really don’t want their opinions bc we don’t think our families will like the name much but we do. But I’m excited about it so I can blab on the bee!! =]

i think we decided on Bailey Grace, Bailey was not one of the names we had it narrowed down to at all. We’ve had it between Allison and Leah for months and we just couldn’t settle on one..so the other day I was like well let’s pick middle names for those two and go from there…and we spent hours and only came up with Bailey every other middle name we came up with we were both like but I like Bailey better than that…so we decided Bailey was the middle name…

A few days later I was like ok we have a middle name…which first name and at the same time we were kind of like…if we like Bailey that much…why not just use it and Grace came very quickly after that and for the first time it just feels right so I think we have it =] although who knows we may take one look at her and go with someone else but I’m really feeling this is it =]

Well that was longer than expected…oh my goodness ladies we’re getting SOO CLOSE!!!

@Lyndzo:  I’m really uncomfortable too and I feel exhausted all the time. I have a list of things I want to get done before baby arrives and I have absolutely no energy to do it. I get short of breath really easily too…going up and down the stairs to do laundry is the worst! Our laundry room is in the basement and by the time I go downstairs, get the laundry and carry it up two flights of stairs to put it away, I need to sit down and catch my breath. I feel really pathetic. :S

@Lyndzo:  Somehow I managed to write that book up there and not respond to this! I have hit a bit of a wall too. It seems like even when I do very little I am just so tired and I get the hips thing completely!! It makes everything so uncomfortable.

@As_You_Wish:  Doing laundry is the worst for me too. I’m blessed that laundry is on my main floor but the bedroom is upstairs so I still have to haul it up and down after just a few loads I am so tired and so sore. I too have a huge list of before baby to dos and it’s just not looking to good right now lol. I keep wondering when “nesting” will kick in.

Seeing these posts that say August 2014 babies is a bit odd to me, because I felt like january was SO FAR away and all of a sudden, we are DUE NEXT MONTH! Soon, we will be posting birth stories on the bee –  how crazy is this?!?!?! Hope everyone is feeling good and doing well! 🙂

I’m jealous of you ladies who have a separate room for the baby – I won’t have that luxury until we move, which is going to be in the spring. For now, it’s just a pack and play in our bedroom.

@Lyndzo:  I know what you mean about wanting her to come out but also wanting her to stay in. I feel the same way! I’m JUST starting to feel a little bit less comfortable….but that only started this past week.

@ames12708:  Sorry to hear you didn’t get as many necessary items as you had hoped. I understand where you’re coming from – I would have felt the same way! But of course, you wouldn’t want anyone to think you’re being entitled or ungrateful but if there’s a registry, it’s there for a good reason! Also, I think those names are super cute!

@ames12708:  Sorry about not getting registry gifts! I know it sounds gift grabby when people complain but I totally get it!!! Also I love the name! We also decided the name for our girl would be Claire becuase I was using Claire as the middle name and couldnt think of the first name… I was like wait a minute, if I love Claire so much that should be her first name! haha all for nothing…we are having a boy…this time.

@IheartNYC:  @SaraP2012:  yeah I definitely don’t mean it gift grabby I LOVE what we’ve been given and am so thankful, but not using the registry has always blown my mind lol. So glad you ladies get what I mean. I know it will all be just fine though =]

Awwww! The names Claire and Bailey Grace are awesome! Love!

@Lyndzo: +1000, it’s starting to get ridiculous uncomfortable.

I was just whining to my trainer today that I have ligament pain in my pelvis and hips even though we have been targeting those areas for strengthening. More complaining than working out today, not so good. I think I’m going to have to switch over to water aerobics which just cracks me up because it’s me and a bunch of old ladies but they are so sweet and just tell you how good you look. But they also like touching the belly and I’m not so crazy about that.

I ran out to pick up my son from basketball practice last night and realized AFTER I got home that my sweatpants were not covering my belly fully. There was a significant gap between my shirt and my sweatpants. Nice. Nobody wants to see that, I don’t even want to and it’s my bump.  Why don’t they make over the belly sweatpants – I don’t feel like yoga pants offer enough coverage, I want thick, forgiving, over the belly, warm maternity sweatpants for lounging around at home.

@Foreverblonde345:  SOOOO impressed you’re still working out.  My workouts are laundry and cleaning the kitchen. And climbing in and out of bed LOL

@Lyndzo:  I hear ya! This week was actually a little better, but the previous two weeks really sucked! I was so glad to have work canceled last Friday because of weather. My back was hurting, I’m getting swollen, and the peeing…oh, the peeing. There were a few nights where I was up every hour, either to pee, rotate, or both.

@ames12708:  I understand what you mean! It’s not gift grabby at all. Our first shower, everyone did a great job of shopping off the registry. Our second shower…was a little more difficult. Just like you, I appreciate everyone thinking of us, but we can only have so many onesies!
