I was told by my doctor today that the baby is measuring on track but he thinks he’s going to be a “good size”. I’m a bit scared as to what that means! lol Darling Husband and I were both under 7 pounds when we were born so I assumed our baby would be on the smaller size.

@As_You_Wish:  haha what does a “good size” mean to your doctor? I had a sono yesterday and the baby measured at over 6 lbs already so he is looking like he will weight 8.5-9 lbs. I was hoping more for the 7 range myself!

@SaraP2012:  I have no idea what it means and I was afraid to ask. I wouldn’t mind having a big baby as long as he could find a way to teleport out of the womb!!! lol

That’s both crazy and awesome that your baby is measuring over 6 lbs already! I wish I knew what my baby weighs but I don’t think I get any more ultrasounds. The doctor was telling me today that if I were to go into labour now, they’d be able to deliver the baby at our local hospital no problem (because I’m in a small-ish town, normally if you have a premature baby they send you to a different/bigger hospital).

@As_You_Wish:  a “good size” can mean anything haha. And yay for being able to deliver at a local hospital! As for me, at 35 weeks, our girl is 5 pounds and 7 ounces so I hope she doesn’t get TOO much bigger. I am happy to report that she has changed positions and her head is now down. yay!! 😀
