Aaaand after 4 days of early spotting, AF is here with a backache to boot!

Congrats to the BFPs! Good luck to those yet to POAS. Hope to only see a fraction of you next month. Now to open a bottle of red 😛

@LondonAutumn:  You’ve made me realize we can’t tell the kids when I get pregnant; they’ll end up telling everyone! It was easy when DS was 1.5 and I got pregnant with DD; he didn’t start talking until he was almost 3. At almost 5 and 3 years old, they are total chatterboxes. I don’t want Mother-In-Law to know until at least 8 weeks. She’s never been able to keep the news to herself. But here are the shirts I want to buy to announce the news!

DS wants a red shirt and DD wants a pink or purple shirt (I showed them the sample colors). Baby #3 would get a white onesie.

@MrsGAM:  aw so cute!! Ya mine is a chatterbox she talked early and never stopped! She’d be yelling “mama has a baby in her tummy” to everyone she saw.

@frostedforks: Bummer about AF. Especially after all the spotting 😞… Can’t go wrong with a bottle of red!

It’s ironic you mention a backache–I never get backaches but I have an awful one today and no idea what caused it! Wondering now if it’s AF coming…

I caved and POAS tonight at 9dpo. BFN. Only did a two hour hold though. Those of you who have gotten BFPs before 12dpo, how long did you hold your urine if not FMU?

@MrsGAM:  I love those! We definitely can’t tell our DD. She’s 5 and will tell the world. I got this shirt for her to announce it to our parents and when we finally do a big world reveal too. Her favorite color is blue and she goes bonkers for unicorn anything so it’s perfect.

@lakelady5:  thanks x

@lakelady5: if backaches aren’t normal for you, maybe that’s a good sign! Mine are my go-to AF/PMS symptom.

Keep us posted! I’ll still be lurking.

@lakelady5:  I got my first positive with FMU at 11dpo. Took another that evening straight after work and it was a suuuper squinter. I couldn’t remember the last time I peed so I held it for 2.5 hours and tried again and it looked pretty much the same as my FMU test that morning.

I didn’t get earlier than 11dpo but I’m fairly sure it would have shown a positive as the FMU 11dpo was light but DEFINITELY not a squinter.

@LiliKitty:  thank you! I’m 8dpo today and yesterday I had cramps, what I think was a sharp pinch and spotting when I wiped. I was super chill before, but now waiting for 14dpo feels like 10 years from now 😭

11dpo today and spotting.
I got BFNs on 8 & 10 dpo. I was too scared to test today and see another negative. Spotting before AF is very unusual for me, but it seems late to be implantation bleeding.

Any positive thoughts? Or do I just need to accept that I’m out this month?

@buckles:  My implantation bleeding went from very faint at 9dpo,  then got a bit more pronounced, then by 12dpo it was almost non existent.

@buckles:  My spotting started on 10dpo halfway through the day with one wipe of kinda brighter light pink (if that makes any sense haha) and ever since then it’s been super light brown spotting when I wipe. Still there at 13dpo today…but I feel comfortable since my lines keep getting darker.

@LiliKitty:

@300bride:

Thank you both for your feedback. The bleeding has picked up and I’m fairly sure it’s just AF a few days early.

Wishing you both the best 😊
