At 24 hours to the minute, my Clearblue Digital stopped displaying my “pregnant” result, which the instructions said it would.  So naturally, because I’m crazy, I cracked it open to see the actual test strip and that line was so dark!  I probably could have used the regular line tests.

Need some opinions ladies! I typically have a 28 day cycle, with O around CD 20-23, which either leaves me with a very short LP… or my cycles are still just wonky from coming off BCP in October. This month I O’ed on CD 23…well instead of seeing AF 5-6 days later, I am still waiting. I POAS and get negatives, but I am still technically only 10DPO. I have not started temping yet, as I was planning on waiting for my next cycle to start, so I don’t have a lot to go off of. I have only been using OPKs and monitoring CM so technically it’s possible that I really didn’t O at all…but why the heck is AF not here yet?! Even pre-BCP I had pretty regular 28 day cycles, so this is really throwing me off…argh! I mean, I’m not mad at AF or anything, she can stay away…I just hope that means that I get a BFP soon πŸ™‚

Roll Call:

Current Cycle Day: CD 33

Ovulation Date: Jan 12th/CD 23

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Jan 25th/28 day cycles, with late O!!

Cycles trying: Cycle 3

BD timing: Every other day starting CD 7, then everyday for 3 days after positive OPK

@wifegoodman:  Yay!!  I’m glad you’re feeling better.  Hope you guys get some time away from the conference to enjoy Chicago.  I love that city!

@MrsAMac:  Yes, let’s!  I’m rooting for you next month – your chart really threw me off last cycle!

@hardtoconcentrate:  OMG I know.  I was planning on taking a break from temping but with last month’s chart I am now so confused as to when I O.  Hopefully this month will help me figure it out, or better yet I’ll get KU!  Hopefully you get some fluctuations this month! Lol.  Yours was a mystery also!

@tracylesq:  Show us a photo of your pretty dark lines! It’s all too exciting πŸ™‚

I’m 6dpo today and woke up feeling awfully crampy and cranky (aka premenstrual) so I’m not holding out high hopes for the chance to POAS at all this month. I cheered myself up by buying a gorgeous dress that a pregnant woman could definitely not fit in to πŸ™‚ I may or may not have purchased some high heels too!

There are some good points to not being pregnant (I’m trying to convince myself anyway), what does everyone else do to console themselves when AF is impending/arrives?

@AnnieGrace:  Definitely alcohol! Wine, beer, whatever will do. And brie! I like the dress idea too – with bloating going down when AF arrives – I wear stuff that I know wont fit 5 pounds from now – haha.

Bees – this is so sad that I just have to laugh. Its CD 23 with no sign of O. I o’d on CD17 the last 3 cycles .. so this is odd for me. I have always temped. No OPKs – we just BD every day until I O – and then maybe one more for good measure. I am WORN OUT!

So I was getting frusterated wondering if I was going to O really late this cycle, or not at all – should we keep BDing, etc. I went to Walmart and bought Equate Brand OPKs. I mean, if I wont be able to POAS in January – I’ve got to find something to pee on ;).

I dont know if it will help – but I figure maybe they will be getting darker and I’ll know I could still be in, or lighter and maybe give up.

Welll.. my first OPK…

Really?!? I feel like I got a dud. Its almost comical at this point. My body REALLY doesn’t want me to know whats going on.

I have an idea! I know I’m new to these boards – and its a little early to be making demands πŸ™‚ but I thought I’d see what yall thought. What if we did a poll / roll call for all bees after they get their BFP? I think it would be interesting to know what they had been doing / what their TTC strategy was / etc. Something like this?

How / When did you find out:

How did you / will you tell SO:

TTC strategy (charting, OPKs, supplements, lying down after BD, etc.):

Cycles Trying:

Anything new this cycle:

Symptoms:

Picture of the two beautiful lines:

Feel free to shoot it down – but I’m interested in some of the answers.

@carolinabee:  Wowsers, even your test line is super faint! Was your urine diluted? Maybe you need to not drink for a few hours and hold your pee and go again? You poor thing πŸ™

Also, I think your other idea is splendid!! I can’t wait for the opportunity to contribute one day!
