Roll Call

Current Cycle Day: CD37

Ovulation Date and DPO: CD24. I O’d late because of international travel-which always mess with my cycle. Currently DPO13

POAS date: Oh gosh, I’m really awful. Jan 24, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31

Usual Cycle Length: 30-31 days

Cycles trying: first

BD timing: We BD CD16-27.

Link to Chart: http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/my-account/bbt_chart.php?cycleid=186188 If that doesn’t work, to summarize, I home from my trip Jan 4, had a temp from the jet lag. Removed my Paragard on jan 8. Had EWCM CD 20-24, a temp shift on CD24,  very light spotting the evening of CD30, a temp drop (that I thought was implantation) CD31. I’ve used seveal brands at HPT, all negative. The only slight positive was yesterday, but that only happened 90 minutes after the test.

I’m adding symptoms: I don’t have my usual PMS, I’m not as crabby as usual (maybe that was due to all the fun DB), the bloating isn’t too bad, and I don’t have constipation.
On a positive note, since I started charting 6 months ago, I have always had a 10 day luteal phase, and start spotting around day 8. Today I’m going on day 13 and absolute no spotting. I also have been cramping since ovulation, I usually only cramp one week prior-the cramps aren’t bad or consistent.

I know that it is wishful thinking to get pregnant in the first cycle trying. I also feel awful for acting so irrationally by testing so much (my poor DH!) and understand that coming on here and “complaining” about negative tests on my first try is kind of laughable and insensitive to the women who have been trying for so much longer (I absolutely cringe that I came on yesterday about a positive test after 90 minutes, the most supportive and helpful women had such crazy things going on in their own life, I can’t believe I they would respond to my silly question!)

@AstoriaK:  Thanks for the encouragement. I  must be close to either AF or a BFP because I imediately started crying at your response (i’m not usually so emotional). I do feel so let down by the BFN.

Roll Call:

Current Cycle Day: CD28

Ovulation Date and DPO: CD16 (i think I O’d way later though), 12DPO

POAS date: Jan 30, 31 (both neg)

Usual Cycle Length: 28-29 days.

Cycles trying: NTNP 2 months, TTC 1 month

BD timing: O-5, O-1, O

Symptoms: Definitely PMS, although the mood swings only last about 30 min. Cramping and bloating a little more than normal this month.  Heart feels like its beating faster, which is causing some mild anxiety

HPT question…I POAS yesterday morning and left for work after seeing a neg after a few min.  When I came home from work (10 hrs later), I picked up the HPT from the trash and saw a faint pink line.  Is there a chance its positive…?  I tested again this morning with a FRER and waited about 10 min, and still neg.  Has anyone had the same experience and ended up with a BFP?  Thanks ladies!

@wellheeledmama:  Yes, I experienced that yesterday but with a blue dye test. I tested again this morning with a blue dye, pink dye and digital. All negative. Still no AF so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Hopefully you will test tomorrow morning and get your BFP within the 10 minute mark! Sticky Baby Dust!!!

Well AF didn’t show up yesterday, so I tested this morning and it was a BFN. My temp dropped as well, so now it’s just a waiting game to see when AF will show. Some time today, I’m sure. I have my normal ‘brown’ when I wipe, so she’ll be here later today.

@KH:  the first cycle is SO hard! i love leaning on the bees for support because they just don’t judge πŸ™‚ and give great advice to boot! don’t feel bad about asking silly questions, i feel like i do that every day here!

as for me, i woke up to a BFN and some AF cramps. but they are gone now. i’m only 10DPO, so i’m hoping AF can hold off a few more days giving me a normal LP at least. and i was realizing this am, when the cramps arrived, that if i do get AF in the next few days, that’s pretty amazing, since last time i went off bcp it took over a year for her to show.  So i’m trying to focus on that – celebrating the possibility of having an actual cycle!

Thank you all for taking the time to look at my chart and give advice!  I needed to step away from this all for a bit yesterday – I was starting to feel pretty overwhelmed and anxious.  (feeling better today)

@ScottishMrs:  I didn’t even think about maybe I O’ed on CD27 but I definitely see what you mean.

@hardtoconcentrate:  First Response. I’m leaning towards the wonky period too.  I guess if that’s the worst I see after taking BCPs for so long, I’m not in too bad shape.  I had mentally prepared myself for all kinds of crazy but then when things seemed to progress so normally, I think I forgot all that preparation I had done!

@cowgirlace:  Thank you for the info!  I actually wasn’t bleeding as much as that…so who knows.  I was fooling with my chart and if I did O on CD27, my temps would seem to follow that more typical AF pattern (bc of what you said about the coverline).  I couldn’t find a way to alter my coverline (well found where to change it but I don’t know what I would change it to) but I can kinda visualize it.

I think at this point, the best thing for my sanity, is to go with a light, wonky period and split my chart.  I ordered some more tests which should arrive Tuesday-ish.  Then I’ll take one more test just to make absolutely sure.  And in the meantime, I’ll temp on as if it’s a new cycle.  Hopefully this one I’ll be more prepared and we can time things better.

I’ll pop into the Feb board to say hi and such but, if this next cycle is like this one, I won’t be testing again until well into March.  Good luck to all!

BFN at 17 DPO/CD37 on February 1st! Skipped yesterday in an attempt to see if there’d be any change. I am so so so frustrated to have 17 days of elevated temps with a BFN. If I test again it won’t be for another three or four days if AF hasn’t shown up.

Congrats to all the January BFPs!

@canadablue:  Ahhh!  So annoying!  I was hoping you’d have a different update today.  I’m sorry. I’m sure you’re very frustrated.
