@BellaDee:  Thanks for the pep talk!! I needed to be talked off the POAS ledge! πŸ™‚ I’m going to hold off until Friday. If it’s positive, it’ll be a great way to start the weekend and if it’s negative…well I won’t go there just yet. πŸ˜‰

Ok so I digured I should just roll over since I had had the light bleeding for 2 days and figured I was out (still kind of do) but the spotting has now finished after 2.5 days and AF still isn’t due for another 3/4 days. I also started getting a lower back ache today which I always thought was something you got before or during not after… Now I don’t know what to think! should I just move onto the next cycle and chalk it up to a light period or test in like a week?

@Charlie89:  Test when your period should have been due if it hasn’t arrived. You could have had implantation bleeding, and lower back pain is a possible sign of early pregnancy.

Alright I officially have no idea what cycle day I am on right now as I just got off the most bizarre period I’ve ever had.  I started very lightly brown spotting back on December 29th.  This continued until January 6th when it turned pink/red but was still pretty light.  Then on the 11th and 12th I had legit red flow and cramps. I am completely off my period now.  So confused as to what I should count as day 1, the 6th? The 11th? Anyone have an opinion on this? I plan to start peeing on OPKs tomorrow regardless.

I am a rollover to February. This will be cycle #8. Considering purchasing the Clearblue Fertility monitor. Does anyone have any experience with it? Feeling super depressed and discouraged it hasn’t happened yet

    Hi,
Sorry to hear you are a rollover. I am not quite yet but I am on cycle day 38 an no symptoms, my last cycle was 36 and the one before 32 so I have no idea when I am meant to OV. The temperature charting thing would be difficult for me as I work shifts so I think if I rollover this month I will buy a ClearBlue Fertility monitor to see if I can figure out my cycle. I have heard good things about them.

@TigerLily13:  i would count the 11th as your first day of your period – especially if that was the first day you needed more than a pantyliner.

@minniemluv:  I’m so sorry you’re a rollover this time around. Hugs.

I did not use the Clearblue monitor, just wondfo OPKs. I think it was helpful, but not as helpful to me as charting – for example, this month, I never did get a positive OPK, but my chart was able to tell me when I O’d. Do you think that you’d be able to chart for a bit to see if it helps you further pinpoint your fertile days?

    ROLL CALL

    Current Cycle Day/DPO: 5DPO, CD 19

Ovulation Date/fertile window:  I don’t temp, but based on symptoms O was 1-10

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: average cycle 29 days, AF expected on 1-25, so POAS in AF doesn’t come, IF I can wait that long.

Cycles Trying: This is our first cycle!

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Pre-natals, reducing caffeine intake, trying to eat better.  I use an app to track AF and predict O dates, BD during FW (and whenever else)

Link to Chart, if any: n/a

    and for fun –

What is your New Years Resolution??:

    Too have a baby! πŸ™‚
