(Closed) JANUARY POAS – PART THREE!

  • poll: What do you think of daycare for infants?

I wouldn't put my child in daycare, too risky

I would ONLY put my child in daycare after they are a toddler

I don't mind daycare, just have other sources

I plan on putting my baby in daycare

@Turtle83:  Oh no! I am so sad for you. Cry I was really hoping this one would stick. I hope you can take it easy with work the rest of the week, and I’m glad that at least your OB has documentation. I am sure they will be able to figure out something to help out.

Almost through the month already! Crazy!

I had an appointment yesterday and although she wasn’t as awesome as TurtleBride’s new Doc regarding acknowledgement of the fact that I was pregnant, she did go ahead and order blood tests to get the ball rolling.

Re: the positive pregnancy tests, she basically said, “Well…..it’s possible that your hormones right before your period…blahblahblah.” I just don’t buy that a test designed to detect HCG would be positive and darkening because I was going to start my period. I also have not officially POAS since the 20th when it was still a faint positive, but since I’ve had NO symptoms and my temp has fallen to normal pre-O levels, I’m sadly, going to say call me a rollover.

Anyway, I’m glad the tests (progesterone, lutenizing hormone, thyroid…) are ordered and I eagerly await the results! (Anyone have an idea about how long it’ll take to hear back???)

I know I’ll be seeing some of you on the February board. Thanks BellaDee for managing the board! Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy!

TurtleBride: I know your pain, lady! We’ll get this figured out! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Turtle83:  Ah, I’m so sorry that was the result. It may not be a later miscarriage, but still, it is a miscarriage (I actually really dislike the phrase “chemical pregnancy” because I think it downplays it, when for many women, it is no small thing). To have gone through four of these is just heartbreaking – my heart goes out to you. I hope your new doctor can get you some answers and help you get your sticky baby soon.

@wyoteacher:  I agree, I don’t see how your normal pre-period hormones would trigger a positive on a pregnancy test. I’m sorry this month ended this way for you, too. I hope February brings you better things.

POAS at 5.30 am is not good!! I was so convinced it’d be a bfn this time but instead it’s the same barely there line as the last time. At 12DPO I reckon this should be way stronger so I’m pretty sure I’m out but I’m gonna have to POAS one more time this month for good measure. Good to know First Response have made their monthly quota thanks to me!!!! I’m turning into a crazy person!!!!

Well ladies. It’s a chemical for me. Cramping super bad (woke me up, can’t go back to sleep bad) and I’m passing clots. I don’t think I’ll bother with getting my blood drawn today.  Those of you who have had chemicals. Can I expect AF to be normal schedule next month or will she be off schedule now? Just wondering for TTC purposes. Thanks for everyone helping talk me through this.  Sorry the outcome wasn’t different, but I’m not giving up yet ๐Ÿ™‚

@MrsFireChief:  So sorry. ๐Ÿ™ My period took four months to return after my chemical, but I don’t think I’m the norm by any means. I have long cycles and a history of irregularity. I hope you can get back to business really soon!

@Turtle83:  I’m so sorry to hear your news. You have every right to feel sad about this. It is sad! But hopefully you can work with your doc to get your body on the track it needs to be on for a successful pregnancy.

@BellaDee:  @phoebephoebo:  @Nic01:  @rusticgirl:  @Merelton: @IAmTheShadow:  Thank you so much for all the support. I really appreciate it and it helped me feel better ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanted to provide a positive update: My doctor already has all my results from the recurrent pregnancy loss tests back from the labs, so they moved up my appointment to next week Tuesday. I’m also having an ultrasound that day to check if I have any internal issues. I’m really looking forward to the appointment and I’m so glad that they were able to re-schedule me for an earlier date. So far this new clinic has been great, and I’m so happy that I switched doctors this year!

@MrsFireChief:  I’m so sorry this happened to you as well! Sending you many hugs. I can’t offer advice on what to expect since I’ve had 4 chemicals in a row….. What has always happened consistently is that AF is more painful than normal and with clots, which I never had before this starting happening and it has never prevented ovulation. Wishing you the best in February!

@wyoteacher:  My doctor said the tests would take at least 2 weeks to be ready, and they were ready in about that timeframe. Wishing you the best! And I hope you get some answers soon!

@phoebephoebo:  How did you upload from your phone? Lol (lurker here, haven’t been posting on the POAS boards)

Also, your test reminds me of mine lol. There is something there and not at the same time ^_^
