@BellaDee: I guess you didn’t spot my post yesterday – just before you closed the first thread! –>

Ladies, I think I’m on my way out of Jan POAS… AF appears to be creeping in, bang on schedule for tomorrow πŸ™ Apparently no amount of peeing on sticks gets you a BFP unless the BD’ing has done the trick – who knew?! Lol.

Anyways, HUGE congrats to those who’ve got their BFPs already this month, and advance congrats to those who are going to get them! My cycles are a little long so I’ll be back for February’s round. I hope NOT to see many of you there, for all the right reasons!

@NLbride:  It’s the only strategy that really works for me! Ha!

Sooo, the governor of MN just ordered that all public schools be closed on Monday, Jan 6 because of the predictions for dangerous windchills all day, possibly dipping to -50/-60.. Woohoo, day off! πŸ™‚  And I can’t help but think that it would be really nice to have the extra day to soak up the awesomeness of a BFP over the weekend!

@terpalum10:  Sorry to hear about the neg test, I’ve got my fingers crossed for you that will change in the next few days!

AFM, I’m at 8dpo and I have a temp dip yesterday so I’m really hoping that means implantation.  FX! We had pretty good BD timing this month at O-5, O-3, O-1, O & O+1 (really wish we would have gone for O-2 but I was too tired).  That’s with my weird Wondfo + opk on CD12.  If I take that out and use just the positive First Response OPK that I got on CD13 it pushes O back one day, meaning we might have hit O-4, O-2, O-1 & O.  Either way, I’m very hopeful for this month.  I don’t have any symptons to spot and don’t feel any different but I also don’t like to get my hopes up.  So far I’m sticking to my POAS date which is the day AF is due.   I have a feeling this next week is going to go by veeeeeery sloooooowly.

Sorry I’m a bit late… being waiting and waiting to O and I think I finally did!

    ROLL CALL

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 48! 1 DPO.. waiting for temp confirmation tomorrow but I’m hopeful! I can’t believe this will be a 60 day+ cycle… made an appointment with the OB/Gyn who can hopefully help figure this out!

    Ovulation Date/fertile window: Dec 30- Jan 3

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Jan 17… they just keep getting longer and more frustrating!!

Cycles Trying: 6 months but this is the 4th cycle

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): timing, OPKs, temping

    Link to Chart, if any

    and for fun –

@BellaDee:  Minnesota!  I’ve been thinking of how I’ll tell my DH whenever it happens…. I have been watching all sorts of YouTube videos of different announcements and I think it would be fun to do that, but I think I’ll end up being a “LOOK AT THIS!!!” pee-stick waver in the wee hours of the morning……

@BellaDee:  Awwww!!!! That’s so sweet! I know there are a lot of SO’s that don’t believe the faint lines right away.. haha! DH might end up going ice fishing on Saturday morning, so I’ll be more likely to be able to keep the secret if he isn’t in the house! I’m getting ahead of myself though.. need to stay realistic!

    @BellaDee:

I showed DH my 1st FRER but it was suuuuuuper faint and it was just not enough proof for him. So 2 days later I took a test in the AM and waited until he got home from work– I put our dog in a shirt and wrote “big bro” on it…. he walked in after seeing Oakley greet him and was like “uhh do we have a baby?!” and i said yes, showed him the new pronounced line and the rest was history! but it was SOO SO SO hard to keep it to myself all day.

(december poas bfp lurking to hopefully see the good news of last month’s rollovers!)
