Thanks for the post. We are budgeting for 150 and I’m trying to invite the majic number so that when it is all said and done we are as close to 150 as possible (venue minimum)

I also enjoy seeing these.  Thanks for sharing.  We are inviting 155 but hoping for 110ish.  About 75% of our guests are out of state though.  Fingers crossed that our magiv number really works out

hehe, we’re doing the same thing.  WE only wanted 100 ppl (invited 120) but increased that to 140 and hoping that only 120 come.  Just sent the invites (yes I’m late!!!) and will keep the bees updated on the responses!

But, we’re hoping to fall within that magic number, too!!!!

Here is our breakdown:

224 invited

129 invites sent out

180 accepted ~80% acceptance

44 Nos

  • 29 Nos were OOS (13%)
  • 12 not bringing plus 1’s (5%)

We were hoping to get 180 as our capacity was 200 (and would be soo tight).  I was shocked we came in right on target.
OH and regarding RSVPs coming back…ugh.  Well I ended up with a total of 39 RSVP cards outstanding which is about 30%.  I even waited 3 days after the rsvp date as they continued to trickle in.
