@noritake22: The only coverage I see seems to be only on the reactor’s and not the people of Japan who have suffered so much. I am happy to know that my friends are safe there, but still so many suffer. My one friend posted a comment about how they have had 85 quakes in the past 7 days. She posted this: http://www.japanquakemap.com/week

I’m glad I’m not the only one! I was afraid to say it – the situation in Libiya is also important – but its almost like a slap in the face that the news just keeps covering “TRACES OF RADIATION FOUND IN OUR MILK!” stories.

My family and friends aren’t worried about the radiation at all (except for the parents with little ones) but the aftershocks are getting to them. My aunt was taking a bath and a big aftershock hit- she threw on clothes and ran outside. A former student of mine takes showers with clothes on!! I was always so, so scared of the Tokkaido earthquake when I was living in Tokyo, now they are living something very similar and it must be so stressful to be living in fear everyday when the ground starts shaking.

Very true it is unsettling. It has been so stressful for me and my family. I can’t believe its been going on for so long.
