@Boobie01: Love love love it.  Not too bold at all.  The white wedding dress became popular when Queen Victoria got married, prior to that they were coloured and now there is a return to the coloured wedding dress. It’s a trend that lasted 170 years.

In regard to the head piece, I think an updo with some sort of tiara with red and champagne stones will make it look very regal. If you want a veil, a nude, same colour as the bodice elbow length but personally I will not put a veil with the dress it will distract from all the beautiful detail on the bodice.

Will you be lining the bodice up to the bust area?

@saffy:  The only thing I notice is what you mentioned eariler.. The blue.. I can see it, it’s quite obvious to me, I would worry it showing in pictures that way.. I would see if they could stitch a panel in there to make the white..thicker??! (I think that’s what I’m trying to say…)

@ralessio:  that’s a great idea. I think I’ll do the nude veil with red lace on the edge. Thanks

@hiheel:  I think you might be right about the veil. Now I’m confused. The bodice is definitely gorgeous, so I don’t want to take away from that. But I think the tiara would give  it a princess/quincinera feel. I’m going for the romantic elegant look.

hymaTetrastar:  I’m not having blue in the dress. My bridesmaids will wear blue and nude dresses. Also the decor in my backyard is mainly champagne with blue and red accents

@Boobie01:  I think an elbow length veil may be too much in the bodice area; everything happening at that level. A tiara would be more regal. For a more romantic look I think a long, nude cathedral veil would achieve that look. Either plain, or with the red lace edge. It depends on what you’re going for. An updo would probably be best for hair…I’m thinking if it were down with curls it would seem too claustrophobic because of the heavy lace bodice.

Have you been able to try on a ballgown dress with different veil/hairpieces?

@saffy:  i would see if they can stitch a later of muslin or another later if satin… Our maybe even cut the blue from that section.. It looks looks like a rectangle of blue to me

@saffy:  It doesn’t look particularly blue to me. I kept seeing comments about the blue dress and being like “Which dress on here has blue in it???” before finally realizing it was the one I’d seen a bunch of times. It just looks like a darker/greyer? white. It looks quite nice to me, actually.

@JasminesBridal:  I emailed you a couple of weeks ago and have got no reply. My only change is to add a couple more small flowers on the one shoulder strap. My wedding is in October and I really need to order my dress soon. Are you able to place my order now? Also, how do i pay now that I cannot pay through card.    Thanks

@saffy: Hey there! I just wanted to give my two cents on this. To me the blue is showing a little bit but in the lighting when everyone’s eyes will be on you it might seem more noticable. Most important thing is you want that peace of mind that everything’s perfect on your day. So, I think you should fix it now before it ships and bothers you later on. It can be easily fixed with a white overlay on top of blue.

Trust me something small like this can become very bothersome especially at the time of your wedding!. I know because i’ve experienced it first hand at my sister’s wedding. Also, you will have way too many things to worry about so that should be the last thing on your mind. Good luck with whatever you do. You will look gorgeous either way.

@Boobie01:  That is one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen!! I don’t even know if you’d need a headpeice with it.
