I think it’s beautiful. The dress form may not be set to your exact measurements — it will probably look a lot better on.

ETA: I think the bodice looks really, really similar to the picture.

What is going on with the beading or whatever? or is that just before they put the lace on? Im confused.

@bretonvirgniia:  Are you talking about the pins in the top? If so, I think that’s because they don’t sew the lace directly on until the design is finalized.

@Lazaro_Girl:  I think it looks beautiful! I usually don’t like ruffly/dramatic bottoms but yours is amazing. And I agree with PP that the top looks very similar to the inspiration pictures you posted.

@bretonvirgniia:  The lace in these pics is just pinned in place so that they don’t have to rip it all off if she asks for changes.  Once the dress structure is final they’ll sew it down and all those pins will be gone.

I would ask to be sure, but my guess is that the dress form isn’t your exact size, so the dress won’t be baggy on you.  It’s worth confirming though.  I also think the bodice looks a lot like the reference picture.

Nothing matronly about the top,  just.looks like your boobs won’t be falling out. I really like combination o f that top and skirt!

I think it’s going to be hard to tell how the bodice fits on you simply by looking at the dressform. You may have to tweak it a little when you receive it, but I’m sure the guys at Jasmine’s know what they’re doing!

Your dress looks gorgeous. I love the combination of the Gemma and the lace top, it’s so glamorous and dramatic. How exciting!

The dress looks really good and the neckline doesnt look matronly at all. I love jasmines version of the gemma and think it looks great with the top

Really well done! It’s going to look like a dream once it’s on a real person! If it were me, I’d want that back more of a deep, low-V, (less likely to make the dreaded back armpit-boob fat) but I’m not afraid to show some skin 😉
