I am getting married at the end of November and just can’t justify spending a ton of money on a dress. I’ve been having a look at Jasmine’s Bridal Store and would really appreciate some feedback on it?
Photo’s would really be appreciated!
Thank you soooooo much!

The dress that I got from a local bridal shop here is a JAsmine Bridal dress and I love it. I bought it and im not wearing it but when I try it on I do love the hell out of it. Great fabric, good quality, and they dont partake in the ol bait and switch (meaning you try on the dress you love and then 5 months later when you dont remember the dress you end up with a different one.). Actually it only took me 3 months to get my dress back. They are definitely on their game at JAsmine. Here is a pic.

I think the OP isn’t talking about Jasmine Bridal (aka Jasmine Couture), but Jasmine’s Bridal Shop, which sells replica dresses.

@SamanthaRoux: Hello….I actually purchased my dress from JasminesBridalShop.com and they were womderful to deal with and did an amzaing job on my dress. While I do not have my dress inspiration pics, here is a picute of my completed dress…I am in love with it.
The communication was excellent and the dress was constructed extremely well. I overestimated regarding the length as I am tall….I went for my first fitting and I am having a local seamstress add a bustle. Let me know if you have any questions. They are the way to go….but order early….Good Luck….

I didn’t order a dress from Jasmine’s but had a replica shrug made, which should be arriving in the next few weeks.
If I could say anything about them, it’s that they have excellent customer service. They handle most correspondence by email, and will send you pictures throughout the process so if you want them to make adjustments/changes, you can ask them to do so.
If you do a search in this forum, there should be a few threads on the topic bc I remember looking them up before putting down the 50% deposit for my shrug (which is credit card or wire transfer; they can’t do PayPal due to some policy about replica work). I remember reading that if there’s lace involved, they’ll sometimes send you pictures of different options so you can choose before they go ahead and make the dress. I didn’t have that option, but the lace they chose was really close to the original so it wasn’t a problem.
A note — a lot of it has to do with how complicated your inspiration dress is, and also your expectations of a replica. It’s not going to be 100% exactly like the original, or even 95-98% similar (percentages are all subjective anyway), but for the $$ you get a gown sewn to your measurements, and for that alone I think that’s pretty solid!

- Wedding: August 2012 - Historic Lougheed House
I got bridesmaid dresses from them – their replica work is STUNNING. We went back to the shop to see the original dress, and the Jasmine’s dress was WAY NICER. And it was $150 less.

@Long_Love: I have ordered my MOB dress from Jasmines Bridal Shop (China), it has just cleared customs and I am expecting it to arrive today or tomorrow. You can follow my thread under ‘Aussiemum’. I agree the communication has been faultless. I was given in-production photos to check before beading, then the final dress with beading was photographed. I had a slight issue with the way the dress was sitting on the model. No problems, it was looked at, and re-photographed again. This is great service for their ‘premium level’ dress. They also have two other options designer materials and designer craftmanship.
After I try on my dress (will post a photograph), all going well, I will order my daughter’s wedding dress. I will keep posting so it will be helpful to you and all the other brides-to-be who are looking at this option.
Good luck with your dress.

Hi Bees, I got married June 2, 2012 and had the biggest mental break down of my life.
This is a WARNING to all BRIDES!!!
Do NOT buy any products from Jasmine’s Bridal Shop (http://jasminesbridalshop.com/) unless you want to be severely disappointed. They outsource the dresses to factories inChinaso the company does not see the dresses in person, they are just the middle man out to make a big cut. There are absolutely NO guarantees and they can not back up any claims of quality.
Even if you have many pictures to show them, it will result to a terrible product for the following reasons.
When upgrading to designer quality construction and fabric, it costs twice as much but there is actually NO difference to the lower grade. Construction and fabric is immediately visibly poor. For example, sewing of the bust line is uneven (one side pointed and higher then the other), inner lining bulges out and is visible on the outside, slit on the bottom of a dress is crooked, fabric looks like plastic, and if there is any sequins on the dress it will not be secured (loose thread ends will be sticking out and sequins will all fall out).
Please avoid the hassle and wasting money on this company. Message me for more details about the problem. I ended up buying another wedding dress that was 10x better for half the price and no compensation was provided at all.
