Hey fellow Bees! I’ve really appreciated reading your advice and recos in the past few months that I’ve been engaged. You guys are particularly favorable about Jasmine’s Bridal Shop. I was interested in ordering a dress from them. I really loved the Allure 8873 (I’ll try to post pictures below), but would want to bring up the neckline a bit, bring up the back neckline a bit so I could wear a bustier, and also add a corset back. I was hoping you could chime in on your experience with Jasmine’s in a few areas:
1) If you’ve ordered a lace dress from Jasmine’s – what was the quality of the lace? Would you recommend upgrading to Designer grade lace?
2) Do Jasmine’s dresses tend to have boning/structure in the bodice? I would definitely need that 🙂
3) If any of you have ordered an Allure dress from Jasmine’s – how did you feel about the quality of the replica in general? I don’t expect it to be identical to the original but I do expect the key things that make the dress what it is (i.e. the structure, the quality of the lace, the silhouette, etc.) are preserved.
Any other advice or perspective from your experience with Jasmine’s would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!!

@essiesstyle: You will get a lot more input if you post a link to this question on the Jasmines Bridal Shop Part iii post. Heaps of Bees on there that have had lace dresses made.
My daughter’s dress was satin, but I can assure you that it had significant boning, so much so that the lady that is altering the dress was very impressed and said it was the best China dress she has ever seen. We made it longer and a little bit bigger just in case.
The best part of Jasmines is that you can alter the original dress to your specific specifications. This is something you cannot do when you by from a bridal shop. My daughter’s dress had the train extended and also a lot more beading than the origina. So really it’s not a copy of the original at all but a one off special dress for her only.
You won’t get exactly the same lace, but you will be shown samples of lace that you can choose from. I suggest you go with designer fabric. Again, post on the main Jasmines post to get the most responses.

Have a look at some of my previous posts, and all the Jasmine’s posts on here. They should answer your questions!
