@hiheel:  Nope 🙁 I live in India, and we hardly have any decent white dress tailors, forget the designer stuff.

I have tried on similar styles when I was travelling – Jazmin from Pronovias looked great, but I do not like the fabric.

@JJJane:  Personally I think it’s a very good replica. They have the waistline at the correct place, If you refer to the picture below. The sash will sit just below the natural waistline so once the sash is in place the lace will be visible from the natural waistline up.  It’s very difficult to judge from a picture that is photoshopped with a size 2 model that is streched in the picture.

Hi all, currently I see a lot of brides are trying to put in their order before we go on break on Feb. 2, but actually our customer service will still be working throughout the Chinese New Year break (unlike other Chinese factories), so we can still take care of your order during that time.  This is much preferred because right now we are trying hard to finish up existing orders that need to be shipped before our break, and lots of urgent new orders are eating up our customer service resource.  So if you can wait until Feb. 2 – Feb. 23 for us to process your order then please don’t make your order urgent, and it would be greatly appreciated!  🙂

Hello!

I have been MIA, and just spent a few hours catching up on this blog!  Can’t believe it already got switched over to Part IV so quickly, and up to page 9!

Jasmines sent me an email tellling me about their final inspection, and that my dress is almost shipped!  BUT I had paid extra for a bustle (bussell), and I mentioned it in my email but Jasmines didn’t seem to see that part, or did not reply with an answer about my bustle.  I’m just afraid they forgot, and will send the dress without it.  I know they are super busy, so I’m not upset, but just don’t want them to forget it.

Has anyone every ordered a dress from them WITH a bustle?

@lazlouz:  Thanks!!  I didn’t know if bustle had to be made in person or anything.  Thanks so much.

@JJJane:  I think the Jasmine’s dress looks off because the sash is missing.  That’s making the bodice look longer than it does on the model.

@JJJane:  I agree. It looks off. I see what the ladies are saying though.  Can you find a way to try on that particular gown and get an idea as to where the skirt  is supposed to start. Its also missing an underskirt to give it that look. Did James get back to you on what they can do?

Has anyone been able to get through on their phone line? I call and get “the subscriber isn’t accepting any calls…”.

@jeni.deidre:  I think they are really really busy right now.  Also it will be about 9am there right now don’t know if that makes a difference, but James usually e-mails me at about 3-4am, Australia time, they are 3 hours behind us.

Try to PM James through the Bee.  He is really responsive to that method, but only if it is urgent like he said a few posts ago.

@jeni.deidre:  Probably because the phone was ringing off the hook last night.  Too many calls 🙁

@lelelove02:  yep, they sent the updated pictures: the bodice was made a tad shorter, and the pleats were redone in a different fabric – this definitely looks MUCH better!

here is where we are now. i have requested for the middle pleat to be made as the rest of the pleats. otherwise – this looks good to me!

Hi Ladies! I just joined WeddingBee and am considering having a dress made by Jasmine’s. I’ve got plenty of time until my wedding so will likely wait until they are less busy to place my order.

I’m just wondering though, has there been anyone else on here that has ordered the Aspen dress by Jenny Packham?

If so please let me know!! I would so love to see the replica on a real body!

I’ve seen  photos of it on thier facebook page and James emailed me a few too, but what I’m worried about is the feel of the fabric. I’ve tried it on in person and what really makes the dress is the soft, light, and flowy fabric used. Thoughts?

@Sapphire-Bride:  I can’t help you with the acutal dress, but I have had Jasmines make multiple dresses for my daughter’s wedding (2 months to go) and I upgraded the fabric to designer and I must say all of them were beautiful.

Remember, you can always ask Jasmines to send you samples, you have time, so I would start with that option.  It costs to have them sent, but really, at the end of the day, there are no surprises and one level of stress is removed.

Beautiful dress by the way.
