Hi ladies, I was just wondering if any UK Bees could tell me if they had to pay import duty on their dresses and what the damage might be? Just so I don’t get too nasty of a surprise when my dress arrives here.

My dress is in mid production, got the pics through yesterday  Smile

Hi guys, newbie here 🙂

After ready everything about Jasmine’s on here and being pretty impressed, I’ve decided to go with them to make my dream dress. I’ve asked for a designer quote because the gown I want has a lot of soft layered lace.I emailed a week ago and haven’t heard back yet. I know they’re busy, I’m just so anxious and excited!

Did the ladies who are having their dresses made have to wait a while to hear back initially?

@starsr:  You will have to wait a bit longer.  They are really, really busy.  I would say maybe 1-2 weeks at the moment.  When they are not so busy it is usually 2 days or so.  Where in Aus are you?

@Reeniero:  Thank you! It was love when I first tried on the designer dress, so I’m really tickled to see this one in person! Can’t wait ’till they ship it!

My finished Belleza is looking awesome too! Compare this version to the little stubby guy in post 322 in this thread – this looks amazing.

Many thanks to James and his team for patience and hard work 🙂

Will Jasmines make a gown that is not already on their web site and customize it to your specifications? I have 2 gowns in mind, but i don’t see either on their website. Just wondering. Also, if they will not, does anyone else know of another Chine dress shop that makes dresses of good quality and has good customer service that would make a custom gown?

Thanks in advance for your help. Just getting started on my dress search online. The store experience proved not to go so well.

@JJJane:  Very beautiful.  Looks like you might get it shipped before they close.  Lucky you.

@SoBlessed:  You will need to send them as many photos of the dresses as you can get, especially any detail, it they have beading etc.  They have made dresses for other Bees that have not been on their website.  Jasmines will assess if they can make your dress and advise you accordingly.
