@babecake:  The wedding is outside at a Mexican styled venue.  I wouldn’t say my wedding is that formal. We will be getting married by a justice of the peace. Also, I am changing the bodice so you can’t see the boning. So there will be a satin underlay with lace overtop and then beading like this (the satin will not have rushing like this):

@Reeniero:  I was thinking elbow length would be better, I just don’t want it to look too simple when the dress has so much detail.

@hiheel:  That veil is really close to what I have been imagining. Do you have a picture with the blusher on?

@TaraW:  The veil has 2 layers one to act as a blusher but we didn’t take any pictures with the blusher over the face.

@regina_hv:  I havent been able to get a good pic because I have no one to take it right now. My wedding is in 2 weeks and I havent picked out any shoes or jewelry. But I did totally luck up on my veil! I wanted an ivory cathedral length veil raw edge with small crystals scattered on it and a blush. It just so happen Davids bridal had just made one but it cost 249$!! Just for the veil. It was too late to order one from jasmines so I went on ebay and amazon.  Found exactly what I was looking for in 2T (included the blush) all for only 26$! That made my day! Lol

@regina_hv:  Where are you located?  I live in New York, and have been waiting for my dress since they shipped it out January 28th.  They are saying it’s in the states, but USPS hasn’t picked it up yet….I was SO excited like you, but now, the anticipation and excitement has already ended for me.  I guess two weeks of waiting has wore me out and I’m just hoping I see an update soon for my dress.  I’m so happy for you though!! Lets see pictures!!!!!!  I will live vicariously through you! haha

@NYBubblesBee:  My shipping address is in Florida! Maybe because of the storm you havent receive it yet!! I just couldn’t believe it could arrive this fast!! I haven’t gone to pick it up yet, but i will!! They sent the dress trough DHL! You have plenty of time for your wedding anyway. As soon as I have the dress in my hands, i’ll send you girls pictures!

hi bees,

shout out from Ireland!

im new to this thread and not even engaged yet *covers face* but i organise weddings part time (more as an hobby) and ive loved all your imputs on this thread. love how you offer help to one another and are genuinely interested and happy to help each other. its so encouraging and refreshing to see brides not in competition or witholding information. and i know when my time comes ill definitely be going with Jasmine Bridal and blog about my experience to encourage more irish brides to consider this option.

my only regret is, most of you will most likely be well done by then and i wont have the great expertise of the likes of @hiheel and @Aussiemum.

wish you all a wonderful day and an even more awesome marriage!

@sweetbeejay:  I’m still here 6 weeks after marriage so I’m pretty sure I’ll be on here for a while to offer advice.

Plus I’m pretty sure aussiemum has another daughter she’s trying to convince to get married. Hiheel may also have another daughter too Yell
