@JasminesBridal:  I sent you a pm in regards to my dress.  Im concerned that with your 3-5 day turn around for responses that my dress is not going to make it in time.  I paid additional for the dress to be ready in 9 weeks and make an additional request that I was told would add 2 days.  I have 4 weeks until I leave for my wedding.  I need to know if the dress will be complete soon and what my total is with the additional fabric.   Most importantly, I need to know if the dress will be here in time… if not I need to find another dress.  Please let me know how I can have some quick correspondence with someone.  Thank you.

Hello Bees!

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here since I just got a RING and we have set a date….finally! I have spent the past 2 days going through the looooonnnng Jasmine’s posts following everyones dress updates so since I have been waiting for responses back on a couple of dress quotes I thought I would share my ideas for an Elie Saab design. My wedding theme is Peach and Lace and is going to be in My Husbands (yes we are already married, long story) parents farm in the peach orchard. Tell me what you think.

Do you think its too complicated adding lace appliques on the bodice and lots of pearl beading?

Alright bees,

I need some opinions! I am in love with this gown, it is the first actual dress that I have seen and went, “oh my goodness, I want THAT”. I still need to try it on, and I am not certain it is totally on par with our theme/design, but so far it has my bid…that is, if Jasmines bridal is capable of recreating it for me. I am afraid that it may just be too complex to be perfected :/

@Walserbride1884: Nope doesn’t seem too detailed at all. There was a lovely up close pic of a beaded dress a few threads back that basically allayed any and all fears I had on Jasmine’s bead work. I still lust after it’s memory. Sorry I don’t have a link handy though.

@opheliasrising:  I don’t think it’s too complex for Jasmine’s but it wouldn’t hurt to get a quote once you’ve tried it on and are sure. I’ve seem them carefully reconstruct the layer and fall of layers and layers of tulle to properly replicate various Vera Wang’s, so I think they can can do this as well.

But ladies: don’t take my word for it – I’m just a dedicated dream dress watcher at this point.

@Walserbride1884:  i love that sebastian paolo dress! Simply breathtaking! I think they can do it, but i would be carful with your expectations. The runway dresses are not in the least bit modest, and show quite a bit of nip, assuming you dont want this on your wedding day they will have to improvise to properly cover u.

the dress also has 0 support, and a bra of any sort would look silly… So ya…

although breathtaking on a runway show, it would have to be changed to be wedding appropriate….

@opheliasrising:  i think that can easily be replicated by jasmines. Looks fairly straight forward 🙂

good luck on your jasmines journey! Keep us updated! I love seeing these uptakes!

Hi Bees,

Has anyone had Jasmines do a modified sweetheart neckline?

I’m getting closer to my wedding date and my dress isn’t complete due to the neckline & sash.

I just wanted to know of previous experiences Bees have had with Jasmines doing a sweetheart neckline? I’m going for a scalloped edge like in the MS Lorie.

And if you’ve had Jasmine’s do your sash, how did it go?

This is my current neckline which I’m hoping will get modified. On 20th of June, Jasmines confirmed they would work on it but its been more than a month and I’m starting to get worried.

Thank you ladies. You’er right about the no support. Fortunately I have a small chest. I thought about doing a lace bodice with beading maybe this picture would work better. It definitely needs some sort of lining underneath.

I have a question for the US brides that ordered from Jasmine’s… did you have any problems with customs? Did you get the additional insurance? (sorry if this has already been asked ladies!!)

I received the final photos yesterday (the photo quality is pretty poor, so it’s kind of difficult to see the dress details) but overall, I’m happy with how the dress turned out! I’ve requested a few additional photos and asked that they confirm the size – it’s being photographed on a size 6 mannequin and I’m closer to a size 10-12, I would be lucky to fit my thigh in a size 6 haha.

Here are my mid-production photos:

[based off of Maggie Sotteros Marion]

And my final photos:

I see some very minor imperfections, but it really doesn’t bother me, I wasn’t expecting it to look 100% like the original. What do you bee’s think??? Does it look okay??
