Tagging in too!

Do any Bees know if Jasmines offer a silk or silk crepe material? I have a feeling this has come up several times but I just wanted to double check?

@justjade:  I don’t believe they do.  There was a reason given in one of the threads, not sure if it was James that posted it or Rachel631 when she visited Suzhou. From memory something to do with the silk in Suzhou,  it’s raw silk and not as smooth or something like that.

@hiheel:  Thanks. I had a feeling I had read something in the past about them not using pure silk.

Im sure they would have an alternative available.

Thanks again.

@justjade:  I don’t think they do. From recollection reading it from a thread, I think JBS was concerned with the fragility of silk fabric and the high chances of the fabric thread ‘catching’ during handling- therefore compromising the finish product look and quality.

Hi Bees,

For those of you who already have your dresses…once you sent your final payment, how long did it take to get a tracking number for the shipment, and to actually receive your dress? I sent my payment early last week and haven’t had a tracking number yet. I’m a little anxious as I am having it delivered to my office instead of my house since I have to sign for it. Hoping to track it so it doesn’t sit somewhere in the company mail room for days!!

@reesie2013:

Hi there 🙂 I am having some trouble with Jasmine’s atm about their shipping.

I paid my last payment 11 days ago and I just received an email from James that they are about to ship it. I paid the rush fee so I would receive the dress May 1st and it is now 2 weeks late. I am sad to say that I am unimpressed and I asked for a quicker shipping method. We will see what James can do for me. I can’t wait another week to receive the dress, I only have 19 days left. At this point, it will be hard to find a dry cleaner that will be able to steam my dress in time.

You have lots of time though! So I wouldn’t worry!

@hiheel:  Thank you!!! : ) I am in love with the idea of the dress. I am thinking of having the angle of the ruffles still there like in the photo. But I may have them even it out and do the ruffles straight aross. What do you think?
