@bee1000:  That’s sad. Do you not like the one they’ve done at all? It’s not exactly identical but still looks good imo.

@uphoric:  the one they’ve done is ok…but I’d say its only about 50% of the original as compared to the 80-90% I was hoping for and for 250 dollars I would expect a lot more than what they did…The original is discontinued ๐Ÿ™

@bee1000:  Have you tried some of the Etsy shops? I am having a custom robe made, its silk and lace, I know not the same as yours but it might be worth a look to see if someone could do you one.

Hey all! My name is Chelsea, and you may have seen me working/consulting with Jasmines on the Trello board. I’m gonna be helping James out a bit here on the Bee, answering any questions and just being another face with Jasmine’s here. Feel free to message me if you need anything, or have any questions, I’ll be on once a day to check, so hopefully I’ll be able to answer you guys quickly.

Hi ladies, Need your help. This might be a really stupid question but when paying by western union online it gives me 2 options. Option one: money in minutes and option 2: direct to bank. Which option should I choose. I had never used western union before and I want to pay my deposit to start production. I dont want to do anything wrong and have the money go missing. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi guys, got my fabric sample pics through from Jasmine’s. I’m posting them here so I can check them on my other monitor as well as get some feedback. My dress (previously posted in this thread, liancarlo 5839) is meant to be blush, but the fabric here looks white or ivory – am I seeing things? I’ve paid for the fabric upgrade and the most important thing for me is to get a nice blush colour since I don’t want a fully white dress ๐Ÿ™‚

I think the lining fabric colour is probably about right, but the tulle needs to be a more pinkish/warmer colour. I understand it’s a bit of an unusal colour used on the original’s skirt and might be hard to get 100% (and I don’t expect it to be!), but I think the tulle in the pic below is not really close, although it looks lovely and soft which I’m happy about. Thoughts?

I just measured myself and found I’ve lost an inch or thereabouts from my waist and bust (nearly two from my under bust!) in the four weeks since I sent in my measurements! I’ve started exercising for the first time ever and my body is changing shape so I guess I’ll have to start looking for a seamstress, haha. I’ve already arranged with Jasmines for the back of the dress to be changed from a zipper to a corset to account for changes in my waist.

Do you think if I’ve lost some more inches by the time the dress is ready that Jasmines might do the alterations for a fee before they ship it? Or would I be best taking it to a shop locally? I figure if Jasmines did the major changes then my MOH’s mother should be able to handle anything minor since she’s fairly skilled in that area. What do you guys think would be better?

@Demi-chan:  I actually asked James the very same question! I lost alot of weight from 12/12 when I took the measurements and I don’t even know if it would be smart to take the dress to another seamstress after letting it ship here from China. I rather have James and Jasmine’s work their magic on the dress then have a stranger figure it out. Ask James…Maybe he can give you a quote?
