ETA: Got it to work, never mind.

I have now officially sent final payment for my bridesmaids dresses. My nails are bitten to the nubs.

Wow! Your dresses look so beautiful!

 I’m a loooong time reader but first time poster about to order my dress from Jasmines. I’m a little nervous about kicking this all off.

I’m not sure how much information I need to have to order the dress. I don’t know what fabric it is :S

 Do I need to tell Jasmines exactly what fabric to use or do I just send them the pictures?  I’d appreciate your thoughts πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

@beetobe624 : I can understand you want keep the dress breeze & light, but I think the close beading JBS is doing at the bust is fine – when looking again at the original, the beading is heavy at top & fades as it cascades down – can be seen better with the goldish one, mid thigh beading is much lighter.  Also, there are princess seams on the original (silver) which will make the fit more flattering – only the pucker as you pointed out would be concern, which I’m sure they will fix.  It’s going to be beautiful, JBS does a lovely job on bead work.

@dv3849It’s been a long road for you!  I think the flower girl’s dress is much better, but personally I would really have JBS complete the extra beading at the top – don’t settle.  I love the back, the pink bow makes it! Can’t wait to see recap of all your dresses.

@samoyedlove: Yeahoo!!  Your dress came out beautiful!!!  The way they reworked the flowers coming down, it looks perfect.  Please post picutes of you in it!

@breezybride24:  Amazing bridal gown!

@Sabrina-NYC:  Good luck! Which dress are you having made? πŸ™‚

@iamsherlocked:  Very pretty!!! Can’t wait to see how they turn out!

@weddingbeedoneanddusted:  You look beautiful! So glad both dresses worked out for you! Thanks for sharing photos! I love seeing dresses in action! And congrats on becoming a Mrs! πŸ˜‰

@mrsvenntobe:  Usually they have a good idea what kind of fabrics to use. I’d gather as many photos I could find of different angles of the dress and send the photos to them and see what they say about it. Good luck!

Has anyone else put in an order in January…only to still be waiting for production to start?

@Sabrina-NYC:  Here’s my timeline:

Jan 24: Placed order online.

Jan 24-Feb 6: Confirming customizations and final payment amount with consultant (took longer than normal because of Chinese New Year)

Feb 8: Funds picked up.

The consultant said she’d get back to me as soon as production starts. Hope it’s soon! πŸ™‚

@marbles30:

Dear customer, we currently have many new orders waiting in the pipeline to be processed, which takes time, so we thank you for your patience.

Our production team is only able to take on 3 new dresses per day on average, so if I process all orders for them immediately, they cannot start working on most of them anyways.  Meanwhile we have a lot of existing orders and new inquiries that need attention, so we are allocating our resources accordingly.

Just wanted to explain the reason.  We should be able to make the “guaranteed initial completion date” for all orders we accept, no worries.  Thanks! πŸ™‚

@JasmineBridalShop:  Hello, I submitted payment Saturday night (22nd). Will I get an email saying the money has been picked up, or just shipping info once it ships? I hope it all went through ok!

@JasmineBridalShop: After reading the previous threads, I realise that the designer craftmanship option was abolished, granted I read that if permitting you would consider bringing it back, but that seems to not be the case. Is this going to be the same thing with the photo service? Do you think it may be discontinued all-together if you keep getting so many orders?

Ordered this dress and a veil from Jasmine’s around Janurary 30th! Was able to specially request designer craftmanship and fabric along with the mid production photo. Eagerly (and not so patiently) awaiting photos! I’ll keep everyone updated as everything progresses!

Queston for the Bee’s here…  Does Jasmine’s have something here (WB) or a website to view all the dresses they have made, or to see dresses they can make   – just order one they are familiar with but custom size it – rather than searching the internet & trying on multitudes of dresses?
