butterflower:  Oh wow, thad dress is stunning! I love the beading and lace details on the back. And your short Reem Acra lookalike is so cute. I’m totally regretting now not having Jasmines make me a cocktail-style dress for the reception. You must be super happy with both your dresses!

esterosk:  Thanks. Yes I am very happy with the dresses :), however the cocktail one I feel as I am resticted in movement when I walk, guess I’m not used to fitted/tapered skirts :P. As for the main dress, I really thought it would be very overwhelming like all ballgowns on me, but it looks ok, I’ve yet to try it with an underskirt so hopefully it would bring the length up a bit more. I have a feeling alterations will cost a lot just for the skirt alone..

I have my mid-production pictures for both my dresses! 🙂 And ladies, I need your keen eyes to help me figure out if I need Jasmine’s to make any changes before shipping!

First, my Anne Barge replica. I feel like the main changes that need to be made are getting the neckline a little more rounded and less straight across. I’d also like the back lace to be a little more symmetrical. Here is the original:

And the replica:

Here is my second dress, the lovely Enzoani Dakota. Original:

I am a little concerned that the lace join looks slightly…I don’t know…messier than I think it did before, but I’m hoping that will be fixed when they tack down the lace.

Anyway, I am very happy with how both of the dresses have turned out, and I think they should be perfect with some slight tweaking. 🙂 Good work Jasmine’s!

Hi Bees, I received my dress today! 2 days in total after it left Jasmines.  I am in love! There is only one concern n thats because of the tight ball packaging the boning is a little bent which im sure can be fixed.

Ladies, your dresses look amazing!! I love the lace detail on the neckline Penang1885:

I just got my quote this morning. I’m so excited! I hope my dresses turn out as well as yours have. I am getting my measurements taken professionally on Monday  so I can lock it in.

Here is the dress that I’m getting made. I’m also getting a long veil and a thin beaded sash. What do you guys think? I’ll keep you all posted!!

So I’ve got the dress and the top!

First of all, let me tell you that the quality of the dress making is flawless. It’s very well done, and could not be any closer to the original picture. Some of you may remember that I had a major issue with the gathers at the waist. So glad it was fixed! I had to lace the dress myself, but… well, it’s impossible to do it properly, so Im not sure if I need any alterations, or it’s good to go.
