Hello ladies!

I found a dress I am head over heels IN LOVE with. I’ve heard nothing but wonderful, wonderful things about JBS and wanted to see if I can get my dress done.

The dress is made of silk, but there are hand painted roses on the silk skirt. Is it possible to get that done as well? If so, I’m ready to start the ordering process!! What do I do!? I tried looking at your website, but am having some trouble.

Thank you!

@JackiBean:  I’ve never seen them do any painting, but they might be able to find a similar print. They also don’t use pure silk, because of the nature of the fabric its very delicate and has alot of natural imperfections that aren’t worth its trouble, so for designer fabric upgrade they use silk blended fabrics.

To start the process you can either join the trello board and request a quote (have whatever pictures you have ready), or else you can simple email the consultant of your choice (kimmie, chelsea, or liza). You can search through some of the threads, they have all posted their emails various times throughout the last through threads

@dv3849:  Thank you! I appreciate your help!

I saw that they have the silk blends for the designer price, so hopefully it’s something that can hold a color.

Thank you!

Hello ladies. I’ve been lurking on the Jasmine Threads for awhile now. I got up the courage to send Kimmie a message and ask for a quote on a blush ballgown from Mark Zunino. She advised that I upgrade the fabric because it’s silk organza. The only thing I have left to do is get measured and order! I’m hesistant because of two things:

A.)I am nervous about the color swatches because I want a very subtle soft blush and I’m not sure which one would work out best. I’m not sure if I should take the time and order them or what. I really want to get my dress in and done before January.

B.) I love the dress I picked but I wonder if I should wait and make sure. JBS can make almost anything so I feel like the skies the limit on what I can ask them to do, and by the reviews, I know they will do an amazing job. Did you all decide on a dress you had tried on before or did you just know what style you wanted and pick one that way? I’m scared I’m going to see another dress and wish I would have asked them to make that one. lol. I’m so indecisive.

So I read from the other thread that Jasmine’s will stop doing orders from individual brides and just start working for businesses. Is that true, and if so, when will that occur? I was contemplating using them, but won’t be dress shopping until at least November.

@AngE0522:  i tried on my dress. I was originally going to get a lazaro replicated, my mom wanted me to try it on, so we booked an apt, tried it on, and i loved it… Unfortunately my mom hated it 🙁 i still dream about it lol then i was convinced i was going to get the monique lhuillier belle, saw the jbs replica and didnt like it, so i was convinced i was going to get the ml candy, tried it on, loved it, but it wasnt quite what i had envisioned, at that same apt the consultant pulled this random dress, which was nothing like what i wanted, but it was perfect and i have 0 regrets getting jbs to make the wildcard matthew christopher.

so in short – i tried on all the dresses i was interested in, eventually ordering a dress i had no initial interest in, but loved it when i tried it on.

Tag! :p

I have my final dress photos! They’ve altered the neckline and the measurements, and my sash is finally there 🙂 Just waiting on the lace eyelashes to come off and will send my last payment tomorrow. So excited to imagine my dress might actually be in my hands in a week or so!

Im so excited, my first dress is now in production– YAY!!!! My 2nd dress wont be in production until I choose which swatch I want for the bodice under the lace overlay so I should have those fabric samples in 1-2 weeks. I am so eager to see my mid production photos as the dresses I chose, no other bees have had made. My first dress thats just started production is a one of a kind couture gown below:

@Barbiestylez:  That’s a J’aton.  I knew Rosa when she was a young girl studying ballet, she is a beautiful girl.  I have seen close up pictures of the dress, the seams are raw and very frayed.

@hiheel:  Is the dress beautiful in person? I love it, it’s very different.
