@samoyedlove:  it was initiated a little while back. I think on the previous thread James addressed this issue. It wasnt in reference to you personally, they apparently have experienced A LOT of bridezilla types being especially picky with customized dresses, who were constantly unhappy or wanting to change every little thing, it was slowing up production and causing them a lot of stress.

  1.   this might be a silly question but even though they are stopping mid production pics, does anyone know if they will still send out pics of the finalized dress before sending ?  I mean i would hope so.

Does anyone know if they custom veils to match a dress?  I have a beautiful beaded dress and I’m having a hard time finding a veil that I like with it so I would love to be able to get one made that has similar beading and lace…

For people who have paid through Western Union, do you remember if there was an area to put down the receiver’s address? When I try to pay online, it only asks for receiver’s name and phone number.

@akwa2:  I was confused when I had sent my payment as well! And no you do not need to put down the receiver’s address. I was told that they pick it up by their name and valid identification to pick up payment. I also had to call to verify that I was sending it to the right person after I submitted it online. So have their info ready before you call WU to verify the info and dollar amount.

@ke_murphy:

I’ve seen them do custom veils before.  I think it really depends on if they have a lace that matches your lace or not.

Does anyone remember how much fabric samples cost?  I’ve been looking around the Jasmine’s website and the Trello board, and can’t find that bit of info for the life of me.

I’m looking around for a veil and bolero at the moment, so I’d probably just get tulle samples, really.

@bee1000:  I don’t have #78 but here’s that photo. I don’t know if you can read the post-its, so reading down from the top left it’s #14, #41, #58, #70, #71, #96 and then #62 is on the right side.

@dv3849:  When my daughter got her mid-production photos the bodice and skirt were pinned together and it looked like the sides of the skirt may have been pinned to. She’s doesn’t have lace, appliques, etc. either. I just kind of remember James saying that handling dresses for mid-production photos was part of the problem because they’re pinned together.

@samoyedlove:  If you can do a good photoshop job of putting the parts of different dresses together into one new dress Jasmines said that they’ll work with that. They just don’t want to have to look at photos of 2 or 3 dresses and then have to figure out for themselves what you really want. I hope that helps!

@VeryHappyMom:  OMG you are amazing! Thank you so so much! I didn’t have time to order samples and they stopped doing photo services of different layers together so I was picking blindly!  I hope I can switch mine to swatch 71. They only just picked up my deposit yesterday so hopefully they haven’t cut any fabric yet!
