@AngE0522:  It’s a soft peachy pink. I wouldn’t say subtle because I have seen some blush dresses that are basically white/ivory with a barely there hint of pink. People will notice it’s colored when they see it.

@AngE0522:  Thanks for clearing it up! That’s really unfortunate. I was alarmed because I didn’t think any of the posts here were bridezilla-ish, but I guess he was referring to other people? At least I feel better now that it wasn’t directed towards me lol

@VeryHappyMom:  Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I did and got Kimmie’s reply. Oh well, time to look for another dress!

@Mokara:  When I asked Kimmie about fabric samples in July this is what she emailed me:

For fabric swatch orders, please let us know the fabrics you are interested in or the dress you are interested in, and we can figure out what types of fabrics you need.

Shipping cost is $20 (1-2 weeks to arrive).
Each fabric sample costs $1
Each lace sample costs $5 (to check quality only, not the same lace for the dress you want to order)
Beading sample for the dress costs $5

$25 is the minimum payment for Fabric Sample orders (including shipping)

Hope this helps!

@EwItsBrit:

I was hoping shipping wouldn’t be that high 🙁  Thank you very much!

Ok so I’m not engaged yet but I’ve been keeping up with these Jasmine’s threads for months and they keep changing their policies. Should I get a quote now so that I can actually get a dress made by them eventually? I’m scared that by the time my SO proposes, Jasmine’s won’t be doing any more work for individual brides.

Here’s the dress I would like replicated, do you think I should do premium or designer grade craftsmanship? I really would prefer to not pay that extra 50% :/ Also, does anyone know if they can put underwire in the bust area for support?

IDK why the first pic is sideways, it’s not saved that way on my computer :/

@FutureMrsJohnson_:  Im not “technically” engaged either but I sent one in a week ago because i was nervous about all of the changes and I’m glad I did. Apparently they just stopped mid production pics this week unless you upgrade craftsmanship. Kimmie quoted my dress at $650 and I’m going to get the 30% fabric upgrade because its silk organza. I wanted to wait a couple months before ordering but the quote is only good for 14 days so Im thinking I better take the plunge.

That dress is gorgeous! And I believe on the order form there is a place you can add what you want for the bust area.

@AngE0522:  I just saw that the quote only lasts for 14 days! Ugh. I don’t have that kind of money right now, we just booked a trip to Europe next May soo I’m tapped out. And I don’t want to hit my dad up for the cash cause I feel like he’ll think it’s weird since we’re not even engaged yet lol. Whyyyyy must I love only the really expensive wedding dresses?? Are you going to be getting engaged/married relatively soon?

@Barbiestylez:  WAIT!!!!! What is that dress in the background of your (barbie) 1st photo! Isn’t that the dress that someone recently posted saying that she wanted a replica becuase the oiriginal is $50,000? And, Jasmines no longer makes it because it is too complicated??!!!!!

@FauxPas2012:  Yes I think so… The background dress is the J’aton they said they couldnt replicate. Im getting the front white dress done and they quoted me no problem!!

@FutureMrsJohnson_:  I’m in the same boat. We just bought a house last month and I dont have it right now. I feel like if I dont get it ordered soon, I’ll miss my chance.

I think it could be anytime. I know he’s been saving, but he won’t tell me details.  We’ve talked about dates though and its either September 20th or October 18th of next year.

I’m not sure what the difference is in craftsmanship…maybe it’s the amount of work they put into it? Like if your dress is really detailed maybe you should upgrade? Kimmie told me with my dress being silk organza I should upgrade fabric but I’d be fine sticking with premium on craftsmanship. I would just email them and get your quote just to see. Kimmie answered all my questioned and seemed really nice.

Oh yeah.. And i love all the expensive ones too… I have no idea how can just choose one, knowing they would do an amazing job on almost ANY dress out there? Especially all the crazy expensive ones I could never afford. Uuugggghhhh. everyday I see a new one and think “oooohhh what about that?” lol.

@FutureMrsJohnson_:  I ordered my dress before they changed their policy on mid-production pictures and chose premium craftsmanship. Before they began production on my dress, I sent Kimmie 15+ pics of the original dress (different angles and close-ups), as well as a couple pics with drawings of certain details on the dress that I wanted them to replicate as much as possible. Kimmie told me what they could and couldn’t do. When I recieved my mid-production pics I loved everything about my dress and didn’t ask them to change one thing. So…Premium craftsmanship still produces great work, you just have to be ok with not seeing your dress until its done.

@bee1000:  I’m not positive, but I think they did the lining of my dress in #58.  I asked them to make the lining nude/match my skin tone as best they could, and the result was a light blush that looks very similar to that one.  I don’t always like blush dresses, but I think it looks positively lovely.  Pictures are buried in the last thread somewhere. Not sure if that helps you.  :-/

@lulu3535:  Thanks!  I remember your gorgeous dress!  That helps a lot 🙂  I’m really dark skinned so I asked to switch to 71 as it is much closer to the original dress and I fear that blushes and pinks leave waaaay too much room for interpretation 😛

HELP!

Hi bees, I want to send a deposit to Jasmines ASAP but find it to be little lost on the Trello. Is it possible to talk to a consultant via email and how?
