@chuawt:  I got an inner corset and I definitely think its worth it. Just keeps everything nice and tight. I feel more secure and Jasmines does a great job with it, not expensive from memory.

@EwItsBrit:  I think your replica is one of the best inbals done so far!  I wonder if they use the same production team for all the inbal dror replicas….if so, I hope I get your team! Haha. I cannot wait to see everyone’s dresses in their wedding photos!

@blue_eyes:  I posted Kimmie’s email address on the previous page, post #13. I don’t have addresses for the other consultants.

(Kimmie – if you’re out there, I hope that’s okay!)

Does anyone know, once samples have been shipped, how long it usually takes to arrive?

Bees i got my bridesmaid dress pics! Ahhhh! So excited! I love it so much!

I know there hasnt been that many bridesmaids dresses posted from jasmines so i am happy to show you all this beauty πŸ™‚ its the first of 4. all of my bridesmaids are VERY hesitant to order online. I literally had to kidnap this one and take her to my seamstress to get measured so we could get 1 done for the others to look at. Hopefully this puts them all at ease. im so happy with how it has turned out! Its a convertible dress so it hs 6 panels that can be tied in different ways to make different necklines on each girl.

one bridesmaid has already mentioned something to me about the train, so I dont think I’ll be allowed to keep it πŸ™ apparently it will hinder their dancing or something pffft lol

@MrsPaperFlowers:  lol wouldnt that be cute with a little bustle! The straps (i call them panels, theyre really just strips of fabric) are hidden down in the skirt. Its one thing i loved about this dress compared to other convertible dresses, how subtle the straps are!

@AngE0522:  Yeah, I’m sad about the no mid production pictures for premium grade cause I thought they would at least wait until November or 2014 to change their policies but no such luck πŸ™ I just emailed Kimmie asking for a quote. Depending on how I feel about it and how much it’ll cost, I’ll talk to my dad about buying it. I’m just nervous because what if it gets here and they majorly messed up? I know for most of the brides everything has turned out fine and they haven’t really needed to change anything when they got the mid production pictures but there are a few that didn’t look so great. I probably won’t want to change anything but I would feel better about it if I could see it before they send it to me… IDK. Lol. And I agree about constantly finding new dresses I love! WTH designers, stop coming out with new stuff already! Hahah

@EwItsBrit:  Yes, your mid production pictures were beautiful, but Jasmine’s had already made your dress several times right? They’ve never made my dress before and that makes me nervous >.< but I emailed Kimmie so here’s hoping they can make my dress no problem :]

@FutureMrsJohnson_:  I believe they still send you the final pics… So if there was something you wanted fixed you could have it changed before they ship it to you. I think Im going to get measured and go ahead and do it. I feel like I’ll regret it if I dont.

@EwItsBrit:  Your replica is beautiful! You must very pleased πŸ™‚

I have the same Inbal design, the only difference is mine is with blush colour tulle.

I on the other hand, paid designer craftsmanship & fabric but I think yours is a much closer match to the original PLUS I had to pay an extra $60 for JBS to revise the top layer of lace at the back to be more of a triangular shape like the original design as JBS made mine with a rounded edge on all layers of the train- it would have cost me much more to change every layer to a pointier shape and I don’t have a lot of time to spare, so I compromised and requested the top layer only to be amended Which looks much better and I can see yours is the same- hopefully they learnt that from my dress…. All my pre production pics showed the triangular shaped train, so I was quite disappointed when James advised that I had to pay in order to get the shape changed even though it was in my original scope.

I placed my order end of May and hopefully will get my dress very soon after the last revision which was for the crinoline underskirt to be fixed.

I should have just saved my $$$ and went premium craftmanship πŸ™

@brownskingirl:  Yes, this is what James posted on the Jasmine’s Trello board:

Hi All,

Our workshop has decided to stop providing photo service for orders with Premium Grade Craftsmanship and provide 10% discount as compensation.

The reason is because there are a lot of picky brides who drive our team crazy and we take too many photos of too many dresses every day. We understand they are being picky because this is the most important dress of their lives, but…. every time the photo session takes a long time because we have to arrange the dress perfectly (if you have gotten ready for a wedding you would know how much work that is), and the dress is more prone to damage or getting dirty.

So in order to our employee sane :), we have to reduce the photos and revision they do – we already have a couple of good employees quit recently because they don’t want to work in this high stress business.

This applies to all new customers only, who haven’t received a quote before. You will receive a quote just like before, but you will receive a 10% no photo discount for ordering in Premium Grade Craftsmanship, and if you really need photos, then please upgrade to Designer Grade Craftsmanship (50% extra).

This was going to happen sooner or later especially come Nov. when our busy season really starts.

Sorry for the disappointment, we just want to be happy too πŸ™‚

And then he posted this:

Instead of adding a layer of complexity to the quotes (10% discount), we have reduced the prices of all items on the website (20% discount instead of 10% discount now), so it will be much simpler when receive the quotations.

We have also reduced the arrival time for almost all items to align with no photo service. Yes, without photo service, the products get shipped much much faster. So below is the template you should receive when you are provided with a quote:

<Quoted price for the item>

Other Details of the Quote
Fabric Grade
A. Premium Grade: no extra cost
B: Designer Grade: 30% extra

Craftsmanship Grade
A. Premium Grade: no photo service, no extra cost, pay all upfront
B: Designer Grade: 50% extra with photo service, takes 4 weeks longer, can start production with a deposit (50% of order total)

Shipping & Rush Options:

We charge a flat fee per shipment (worldwide): $50 if the shipment contains at least 1 dress, $20 otherwise. If you split the order into multiple shipments, then for every shipment you will be charged a corresponding flat shipping fee.
